I am a woman with short hair -- so a mask extender/adjuster that requires a ponytail to fit does not apply. My husband & I both use the flat, plastic ones. They keep the elastic mask straps from pushing directly on the back of our ears. For me, it also helps snug the masks to fit my small-boned face more securely. Personally, I use the 3rd adjustment, which was a bit tricky to adjust the second side of the elastic of the mask behind my head. However, I recently realized that I could VERY easily trim off the 1st & second adjustment "grabbers" with an easy snip of scissors. Now, the extender/adjuster is much easier to put on quickly. For me, they stayed on through a rigorous aerobics class. Plastic is smooth, so shouldn't hurt skin if your hair is not between you & it.

It's good. Not perfect but it does its job. If you have longer hair and want to use it under your hair, it could be a little annoying or uncomfortable to attach. Your hair might get tangled, too. But it does its job. While it is not particularly easy to attach if you have long hair, it does its job. My ears hurt less. It has a smooth surface so it tends to slide down a bit, too. But a smooth surface allows you to clean it easily, too. Overall, I think it is a good product.

Thinking this is better suited for men or women with short hair. Although the back of my ears don’t hurt while wearing a mask and using the product, I also think it’s a great invention, but it gets tangled in long hair, not to mention ruining a hairstyle.

As an older guy, to protect my health I wear an N95 mask. But the straps are uncomfortable and push my ears down. The straps get caught on my glasses. And when I need to wear my hearing aids it's just impossible. However, these mask extender straps make everything easy. They're not too tight, they go around my head and not over the ears, and adjusting them is easy. Love this product.

I saw a counter person wearing one and commented on what a great idea. She gave me one, it was like a thin heavy duty paper, almost plastic. Worked great. I wanted to have a few spares, I can see where these types of things get misplaced, lost, walk off by themselves, so I went looking on Amazon. Found these and decided to try them. Also tried a different style, made of silicon. Actually thought those would work better, but they didn't. Too stretchy, floppy, hard to attach the second loop of the mask. These are perfect--especially if you use behind the ear hearing aids or your glasses/sunglasses have behind the ear wrapped wire bows i.e. Aviators.

Do not buy these if you work 8 hour shifts. Two straps have already broken apart. I used to have straps from a brand that I can't find anymore and the only time they would break is if they got too cold. Apparently, these can't handle body heat. Do not get these if you use them daily.

The mask straps arrived on time. I have ordered from your company before and these masks straps are great! I ordered more for family and friends. They are super flexible, comfortable, and can be worn on the crown of the head (my preference, as I have long hair) or the back of your neck. Definitely pulls the mask closer to your face and gets rid of the pain around your ears. I like to have a few extra on hand in case I misplace or lose them, but I had one that I used for an entire year!

Fits all masks but takes some getting used to. Glasses, hearing aids, hat and mask is a step too far!
