Fortunately, a local store had two bottles of Champagne Vinegar - 16.9 Fl Oz at an incredible price, so I purchased them both. At well under ten dollars each (really well under), and knowing the bottles were fresh, it was clear that I was getting a bargain. Now if the product is not good, it's not worth anything, but in the case of this vinegar, I'm here on Amazon looking to replace the two bottles I've nearly depleted. This is very delicate vinegar that is perfect for dressings or a simple slight pour atop a briefly oiled salad. It is a 6% vinegar that contains sulfites, as do most vinegars. This was produced in France and was distributed by a company in MA in the USA. At this point, I'm going to look locally or try to find an affordable replacement for this light and refreshing vinegar that holds up on it's own. I've even used it on strawberries instead of my usual balsamic. My rating is for the vinegar, totally disregarding the exorbitant price posted as of today for this bottle of vinegar.
