I am infirm and spend a great deal of time sitting. I was beginning to develop a pressure sore. This cushion provides the necessary softness to mitigate that problem effectively. My only quibble, and it’s a small one, is that I periodically have to rotate the cushion as it develops a “slope” since I have to sit on it off-center due to the shape of my chair. If someone can sit in the center of the cushion he or she would not have this problem. I highly recommend this product as a remedy for pressure sores caused by lengthy sitting.

I've actually purchased this item twice. They really work. Thick but not so much it's hard to get into my chair. I use this cushion every single day for a huge amount of time. Unfortunately, over time, the cover, which works so very well, starts to break down, lots of big cracks and rough edges. After awhile it starts to trash that skin we just can't see. Soon after this starts, the cushion turns into a pancake. from the beginning until this happens it is wonderful. A full 5 stars in my book. At the end not so much. That said, my first one I had lasted 3 years. 2017 to 2020. This last one, purchased in 2020 lasted about a year. Both saw the same amount of use. I'm not sure what the difference was. Everything from my end was the same as ever. Three years for one of these things is amazing. Heck a year isn't bad.

I love this cushion. I am a plus size woman and needed a cushion for my office chair. I spent way more money on another brand and it was so hard and painful. On this one I spent $16.97 for the 22" x 18" x 3" size. It is so soft and cushiony. Beware it is a bit slippery so I don't know how well it would be for wheelchairs. adding photos, please be aware this is on a plus size chair not a regular size chair.

The padding is nice, but the material is not breathable and it is amazingly hot. I don't utilize a wheelchair and only got it for my office chair at home. I'm a large person and sometimes the padding already built into my chair is not sufficient. I figured, if it was good enough padding and support for someone confined to a wheelchair, then it should be amazing for my ten-hour shifts that I am sitting for the majority of the time. Bad idea... I wouldn't wish it on anyone that has to sit for more than 30 minutes at a time. The "swass" is in full effect after that. I try to get up and move around to keep my blood circulating, but every 30 minutes is just not possible all the time, and this padding definitely has a time limit. It would be good as a repurposed baby changing pad, because the surface is easily wiped off/disinfected. Unfortunately all my little ones are long past the diaper stage. I'm not sure what I'll do with it. I'm definitely not a major fan of the "swass," and absolutely don't want it just from office work. I'll save that for a visit to an amusement park in the summer, LOL. Just keep that in mind if considering.

Uncomfortable wheelchair

The foam inside this “cushion” crushes completely flat. Basically no cushioning after you are seated. The cover seems well made is the only reason I gave it two stars. Worthless as a comfort enhancing cushion unless you weight about twenty pounds.

This was a very useful purchase. It is a generous size to really cover your whole sitting area, it is firm ( I sit on it almost all day), keeps its shape and was a fair price. I would buy this a again for any sitting situation including my wheelchair.

I also bought this product due to it "Bariatric" claim. Just like some other reviews I've seen on here(after my purchase),I too have experienced the quick flatness of the cushion...no support, etc. I am a BIG man, and need support from a wheelchair cushion...as I sit in my wheelchair for extended hours at a time. I would not purchase this product if you're needing Heavy-Duty support (unless you buy 2)!
