Review: Impressive quality, design and craftsmanship! - The value of this blew me away! I was expecting something less for the money but the engineering, fit, finish and operation of this is excellent. All parts are precision made, polished and work as designed with buttery smoothness. The adjustable gripper handle starting width is a great idea to work with all hand sizes or to focus on specific parts of the movement (very easy to adjust using the small lever at the top of the hinge). The pinch grip handles are a unique feature and the main reason I bought this to rehab a thumb injury. It would be nice if the handle extensions were longer or the starting resistance was less to use with the pinch grip attachments as the lowest setting is too difficult to close with one hand right now but negatives and isometrics will help with that. I do think that I could make longer paddle-like extensions out of maple/hickory to allow for easier use of more of the resistance range during pinch gripping and may do that in the future. Due to the all in one design and ease of changing resistance levels I don't foresee myself using normal grippers much other than testing/benchmarks. The lowest level is a good warmup for normal gripping using the whole hand and the hardest level is too difficult to completely close right now so I think the range is perfect for many people. For reference, I have average grip strength with the ability to close a COC (Captains of Crush) #1.5 but not the #2. In my opinion the knurling is perfect- sticks to the skin but is not too aggressive requiring tape or modification. The diameter of the handles are a little smaller that COC grippers but are comfortable for me. If you have big mitts your mileage may vary. I have several COC brand grippers that are tanks due to their simple design. The design of this is much more complex with several moving parts and adjustments, potentially making it less durable, but unless you're throwing it around the room it should last a lifetime. One difference, as mentioned in other reviews, is the spring setup on this allows the two handles to close in the same plane rather than parallel but offset like COC style grippers. I highly recommend this for anyone but stronger/most serious grip athletes that can close COC #2 or higher as this will likely not be challenging enough at the max level. I think the max level is between the COC #1.5 and #2. It could still serve as an all-in-one progressive warmup tool for those folk though. Review: Great product. Very high build quality - Great product. Very high build quality. Nice knurling. A few thoughts: I don't see any use for the handle extensions, however I personally find the pinch grip handles a nice feature that adds some value. The handles do not close fully (i.e. they don't touch like CoC grippers) but they have a mechanical stop that they reach just slightly after parallel. This doesn't bother me for my training, but if you strongly prefer CoC this may annoy you. The resistance adjustment is simple to use and smooth; however the intervals are very large. I would consider the other model (80, vs this 90) for this reason unless you are able to use the last or second to last setting already.

Love over engineered products
This thing is high quality! I bought the 90 and I think it’ll be a long time before I completely squeeze that setting. I think there is value in the 80, with the smaller increases between settings. Something to think about if you don’t already have a strong grip. Also, the extensions help with the transition to the next weight setting. For example, I can do a few reps at 141lbs using the extensions, but none without. That’s my next goal. The pinch grips are solid. I do need to point out the knurling on these things are brutal. I’ve got blisters on my pinkies. Not a problem I’ve ever had before.

Fav equipment
I received this product earlier than expected. It is heavy-duty, and built to last. You will not regret buying this. The pinch paddles are perfect, and the ROM is great. My only complaint is that the knurling is too aggressive. Oh well, more callouses for me! Worth every star. One day in, and I can barely lift a pen from how much I have been squeezing it. I now trust GD with anything they choose to make.!

Impressed my hand therapist.
Best hand grip strengthener you will find. Simple to configure and easily adjustable. Built like a tank. My hand therapist had never seen one better. This particular model may be too much resistance for females, even on its lowest setting. Only one slightly negative comment - the knurled area of the handles is a bit rough. Recommended.

Okay could be better
I’m going to keep but hate how it doesn’t close all the way when you put the pinch grip on have to take off each time which isn’t simple by the way to use it for regular grip training. I have a Robert gripper and hammer strength grip machine this is my least fav

Great product
I loved this gripper, it is really well done and solid. I'm using it for my Armwrestling workouts and I can use it in many different ways that I need. Really love it and recommend it. It is also good for traveling, I don't need to carry many grippers, with just this one I have a lot of quantities of pressure without need to carry on many grippers.

A "lifetime" grip exerciser
The best quality and constructed, most versatile gripper I've seen. A "lifetime" grip exerciser that will adapt to strength gains without further purchases of accesories or need to upgrade to another higher resistance/different product. Very satisfied.

Excelente gripper
Totalmente recomendado.

Good for women, kids, or if you don't plan on getting too strong.
8 month review: Now that I have gotten stronger I can give a better review. First off, the knurling is way too aggressive. It will rip your skin apart if you use the higher resistances much. That is why I put the silicon tape on. I have used a bunch of gripper and the other picture I posted is the one I'd recommend, even though I can't really give a name. So for levels 1-3 this gripper is fine. However, the $5-$10 grippers that are 10-60kg are better in my opinion. Offer about the same resistance range, more adjustable, and better for improving your strength. This gripper degrades a lot in levels 4-6. I can close the level 4, but the resistance ramps up so much in the last few millimeters. If one was going to use this I would recommend training level 4 to 6 without actually fully closing the gripper. The resistance increase in the last part really doesn't match the rest of the close. Level 5 without a full close kind of feels equivalent to a captains of crush #1. If you want to train fully closing a gripper, I do not recommend this gripper. I'd recommend a Vatiz or the one I posted in the picture which I don't really have a name for, but can be purchased on amazon.

Excelent quality
It is more expensive but it has a lot of variations. It is worth the value.

Not good at all
When I start to use it, there is an annoying noise. doesn't like what they said.
