We have a 6 month old Lab and now it's getting colder we have the heating on and could see he was getting really uncomfortable at night with the heat in the house. I was pretty skeptical of this but he sits on it every night now and falls asleep. I took it out of the box and could feel the cold from it straight away. After he lays on it for a while the mat actually starts to heat up all over ( Pulls the heat from his body as stated ) I Tried it in the fridge but It doesn't really need to go in there unless he's been sitting on it for ages and gets too hot.I got the large and probably isn't big enough for large does like Retrievers/Alsatians of that size dog. Would very much recommend

So i have a really fluffy dog that struggles in the heat so i got him this, the stupid idiot doesn't use it. So to get him to use it i have to put it on the sofa and i have to sit near it so he sometimes sits near near, so i've resorted in sitting on it and its bloody brilliant in this heat! hopefully he'll realise its perfect for this hot weather, but we'll see he isn't the brightest :'D

These mats are great, I love them. the dogs love them.for hot days these rock, seriously awesome.however they are as delicate as most teenagers. had one down for about 30 minutes and it split, not ideal as the internals i am sure are not pooch friendly. the 2nd mat is still going strong.Rather anoyed TBF.

ordered this for keeping the dogs cool but it doesnt seem cool and my dogs wont use it at all - they search for a cool floor area and ignore the mat, so it obviously do esnt feel cool to them - i am now using it to lie on myself in the garden!

Bought this for the recent UK heatwave. My dog is large (about golden retriever size) with very thick fur and is miserable in the heat.I placed it in her favourite spot and after a bit of uncertainty she laid on it. She returned to it over the weeks even after I moved it about, so definitely found it comfortable when she was too hot.As a side benefit it stops her laying on the very hard tile or wood to cool off, and gives her a bit of cushioning.It folds up to a small square and is easy to clean and put away when not in use.

Not sure my dog liked this but today on a warm day after his walk, this is how I found him! Not the biggest mat for a Labrador but it’s good enough for most of his body.A good quality product doing what it was meant for!

Seems a good, thick quality cooking Matt however was surprised by the size. Think the first photo is slightly misleading to see a husky fully fit on as my 30KG lab doesn’t fit her full body and paws on the Matt like shown in the photo. Good for the sale price however wouldn’t pay £30 as can get bigger from pets at home.
