Look, this stuff is magical ok? For forever, I have put my pendants, as in necklaces, on hemp cord because silver chains tend to irritate my skin and I don’t do leather cords. The thing that annoyed me about hemp cords was that I had to knot them or fasten them with knots somehow. The knot was never very attractive. One day I received a cool little steampunk astronaut pendant on a cool cord that had no knot but appeared to be fused together somehow. So I did some research and figured out that it was macrame cord. I was flummoxed, bamboozled, hoodwinked. This was an awesome discovery. My cord finally arrived via Amazon and I tried working with it with no avail. Being the dummy I am, I tried using a lighter to heat and fuse the ends. Well that clearly didn’t work. I put it away for a few months and then earlier this week I realized that all I needed was like a flat iron or a curling iron, both of which I do not have. Then I just tried using my mom’s iron. With a tiny bit of trial and error, I figured out how to make it work like I need it to. What a wonderful solution to an annoying first-world problem.

It’s exactly what I needed for my craft. I couldn’t find any of this craft cord in my area. Super handy ordering from here.

I really like the cording for my purpose.I have ordered more of different colours.Just be aware that delivery is very slow to Canada.At least 3 weeks which is a long time by todays standards.
