Bright, Portable, and Great for Any Shoot
These are really fantastic, and quite bright for their size. I was using old bulb studio lighting prior to this, but it made my workflow a nightmare. Setting up those lights easily took 10 minutes per light when you took into consideration unwrapping and rewrapping the bulbs during travel. But the LimoStudio LED lights are super easy to setup, and lightweight and compact enough to travel anywhere with. The build quality is solid and the cords are extra long which is nice for shoots without convenient power options.I noted in some of the previous reviews that people were unhappy that the lights didn't rotate up or down, and I'm guessing the seller listened to those complaints as well. My lights came with a handy (x2) ball joint that slides into the back of the light, so I can easily adjust the angle on the lights. Perfect for matching professional studio lighting from a high angle, or aiming the lights up for ground lighting.Did I mention they are bright? The simple digital controls and readout make it easy to get the perfect light for every shot. The handy filter gels (included) are great for replicating sunlight or diffusing the harshness of the lights on talent. I used these for a shoot in a large warehouse where I needed a lot of right to get the right depth of field, and these did the trick no problem. Granted, you're probably not going to be able to light huge areas at night, but you will be able to light up your actor or background elements without a problem. In addition to the cord, they also can be powered with batteries. I haven't tried this yet, but it's a pretty sweet feature if you shoot in the field a lot. I'm excited to try that soon. The stands are fine. Not the greatest, but they do the trick. Though even without the stands, I would highly recommend these lights.

No complaints here these are wonderful lights for photo and video work
When I ordered these my plan was to replace my older studio lights with smaller LED panels so I could have them closer to my subjects. I found that for these to have the correctly lighting spread that I needed they needed to be farther away from the target. No big deal I just mounted them higher up on the wall. They do come with two very nice tripods that seem to be more heavy duty than the tripods that came with my other studio lights. I trust these stands to hold these up without any problems. What's nice about these lights and stands is I can quickly take them off my walls and toss them into the stands for lighting other areas of my studio or if I go out to shoot photos or video they are on point. The battery plate is for Sony batteries so if you need these to work where you can't power them through a wall charger a quick search on here you will be all set to take them on the road. The barn doors are metal and are easy to use. The lights come with two defusers.

I would like to recommend these as a decent budget lighting set
I would like to recommend these as a decent budget lighting set, but unfortunately I can't. This is entirely due to the company, LimoStudio, rather than the product itself. Note, I do not write negative reviews until I've given a company every chance to resolve the issue privately. When my set arrived, one of the first things I did was change the white frosted filter for the CTO as I was shooting under 2700k lighting. When I removed the frosted filter, I noted two issues. First, it was very difficult to remove, and second it had two long scratches, really gouges, running the entire length. Unfortunately, I noticed the same issue with the CTO filter, it was very hard to slide into the slot. After replacing the filter on the other light, I knew something was wrong with the first light as this time the filter slid in and out with out issues, and there was no scratching. Returning to the other light, I removed the CTO filter, which now had 2 long gouges as well, and discovered that the hinges for the barn door on that side weren't properly attached and were sticking out with sharp corners. I grabbed some tools and was able to repair the hinge. As it was a new set, and as I would prefer the hard filters not have gouges running their entire length, I wrote to LimoStudio and explained the issue. I know they'd likely work fine, but I prefer to damage gear on my own, not through factory defects. I let them know I had repaired the barn door hinges and would keep the light, but I would like the two filters replaced as they were scratched as a result of the defect. I even included photos to demonstrate the issue. Their response? Nothing.I sent the email again several days later and again, nothing. No reply at all. I've given up, but at least now I know the kind of company they are and will avoid their products in the future. I usually buy higher end gear, but for some things you only need an inexpensive solution. I know LimoStudio is on the cheaper end of the scale, but so is Neewer and their support is pretty good. So, I'll return these and go with a Neewer set.

Good Value, But Limited Functionality
Pros:Good, strong light source at 99%, and can be dimmed by quite a bit.AC Adapter comes with a nice, long run.Stands are better quality than those from most low-budget kits.Battery power available.Cons:Barn doors are almost pointless; The LED placement makes it nearly impossible to truly cut light.Gel panels stick too well when they need to be removed, and they do cause a scratch on the panel (not that it is noticeable on the light).Dimmer buttons are "touch" activated and quite finicky.Battery life with two standard sized batteries is low, best to buy the bigger cells.Overall:Great value for the price, but be wary if you're looking for something more directional: This is not it.
