The Satay dip also works well when used on the Asian style instant cup-o-noodles. I think it is the best flavored one out there and it doesn’t seem to lose its kick after it is opened. I thought the Conimex brand, formerly a Best Foods imported, was no longer being imported when Best Foods was sold to Unilever (Holland). So I was very pleased to find it on Amazon. Perfect Replacement for Huy Fong Chili Paste
I have tried to find chili paste tasting like Huy Fong's brand which is not available. This product is very, very close in taste. Expensive for a 6 oz jar compared to Huy Fong.

Good stuff
Great flavor with enough spice. The spice level is excellent and doesn't overpower the rest of the ingredients in your meal. Definitely a repeat buy.

The best you can buy
This is the brand that you buy when you want the highest quality. My Dad swore by it and after tasting it compared to others, it’s worth the slightly higher price.

Not as good as Huy Fong
The flavor isn't bad but the most noticeable first impression is it is too salty. The Huy Fong Sambal is a lot better. The saltiness seems to diminish a bit when it is actually put into the food.

Make your deployment suck less buy this!
Deployed food tastes like garbage 99.9% of the time If you have to eat food cooked till it’s drier than the desert you’re probably deployed to, then you should definitely consider adding the spice and flavor that is this sambal oelek paste. This made everything wonderfully edible! Fantastic on: Over cooked chicken Over cooked fish Powdered eggs Over cooked French fries Over cooked chicken cordon bleu If it is served in a military dining facility this is guaranteed to make you hate your life less. 9/10 would recommend. If they made this in a squirt bottle it would be a 10/10.

We love Conimex spices
If you like Indonesian food, as we do, and if you like Indonesian spices to add to the flavor of whatever you cook at home (as we do), having a selection of Conimex spices, from Holland, is a must. No more need be said.
