X lube is perfectly safe for intended use. (it's also in some laxatives which go directly into the body, just to illustrate its safety further) Basically the longer you leave the lube standing the more it breaks down into harmless elements, and as it's body safe to begin with there's really no need to worry. The instructions say it'll last about a week before breaking down into a water like state. I've found it lasting a bit more like two weeks though it has got thinner and more slippery. I've been using it for a while and not had any ill effects from use. It can get a bit clumpy when first mixed but it's easy to remove the lumps and the rest is fine. Warm (but not hot) water is better for mixing it. **Q: Does it have a self-life once you add water?** A: ...I would also like to add that it lasts for ages if you keep everything clean ie. it doesn't taint, rot or go moldy (or smell bad) even after months of mixing. Just don't add anything else eg. guar gum, xantham gum, sugar or glycerin. **Q: Is there a msds or ingredient disclosure available? is it genuinely 100% peg granules?** A: As stated on label - Ingredients: Polyethylene Oxide. The only snag I have found is its stringiness. You have to experiment with mixing whether to make it runnier or thicker and find the right/best mix for you. X Lube is the new king of lubes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply the best! *by T***S on 7 October 2021* Just the best personal lube for all those 'Intimate' times. Great with larger toys and other large implements! I was a J-Lube lover, it dealt with all that I used to throw at it, But x-lube is the best of J-Lube, with none of the drawbacks. It's non-toxic (frankly unlike J-Lube) and is purpose-designed for those intimate times when the extra slide is needed. Unlike J-Lube (which is a veterinarian based lubricant) I can use x-lube without worrying about stains and clean up. No more mixing hassles, just purchase a sports water bottle with a flip-up lid, fill it 3/4 full of normal tap water first and only then add two caps of x-lube to the water (unlike j-lube). Immediately replace the cap and lid to the bottle, shake for about 30 vigorously (to blend the mix) and after around 30 mins, shake again to mix the lube up and you can begin your fun times. So much easier and less messy than j-lube and not microwave, blender or other equipment needed. A total game-changer for me.
