The media could not be loaded.  These adaptes work great. My kitchen had florescent gx23 2 pin bulbs that just didn't last very long. I got tired of replacing them and upgraded to an LED recessed downlight that used a standard screw in bulb socket. I didn't want to go through the trouble of rewiring a new socket in the can. These adapters turn your gx23 socket to a standard bulb socket. The recessed downlight is flatter so the adapter has plenty of space in the can. Glad i found these on Amazon. Product performs great so far. I ordered the 10 pack. Order was placed on Thursday, received on Saturday. Great value for the price. I've included a step by step on installing these.

Fit perfectly. I was able to replace 5 of my fluorescent bulbs with the newer LED recessed lights from Costco. Each LED cost $4 and are supposed to last up to 45 years. I was tired of changing these expensive fluorescent bulbs ever 2-3 years. Now my kitchen has 10 matching LED recessed lights and it is really bright! Glad I found this, an electrician quoted me $250 to re wire 5 of those cans.

This adapter permits conversion of a GX23 CFL base to a standard E27/E26 Base so that the CFL Bulb can be replaced by a LED bulb. As I see it CFL was a transitional technology between incandescent and LED technology. There are a number of vendors who don't even sell CFL bulbs. Ultimately, you will have to replace your CFL bulbs with LED bulbs. Unless you want to replace all of your light fixtures, this is one of the adapters that you may need. The adapter is easy to instal and only increases the effective length of the bulb by a little more than a millimeter.

Love these converters. I was about to get rid of the god awful lights I had in my kitchen and replace them with LED light bulbs that light up every time without hesitation. On a side note, some were a little hard to connect to the existing light socket but that was more about the pre-existing sockets not staying attached to the housing. The existing sockets are connected to the metal side up in the ceiling and the teeth that hold they in kept breaking off. I say that to say to be careful when attaching these to the sockets because the plastic teeth that hold the in place are cheap and I probably broke off 3 teeth of the 7 sockets I connected.

This is a great product. We just moved into a new house that has CFL 2-prong can lights in the kitchen, which I wanted to replace with screw in LEDs. After watching very labor intensive instructions to replace the cans, I searched and found these as a better option. They completely exceeded my expectations for ease and quality, and got the job done in seconds for way less than replacing the cans would have been.

Four of our overhead kitchen lights were the old PL-C lights that flickered when switched on, burned out often, and were getting difficult to find. These socket adapters plugged in easily and now we have all LED lights in our kitchen. The adapters are well made and work as they should. They truly are the best way to correct the past mistakes of PL-C lights!

Maybe it's a production flaw in recent batches, but these absolutely do not fit into a GX23 socket. The white double fins on each side stick out much further than what is shown on in the pictures. So far in fact that the adapter has no chance of fitting into the socket. Unusable.

OMG! OMG! OMG! After years of having these awful flickering lights in my parents’ basement hallway, I used these adapters to install new LED lighting. What a huge difference it makes! They were easily slipped into the previous lightbulb socket and the LED lights attached easily. A five minute conversion that will make a massive difference in the lighting for my aging parents’ basement! Thank you for creating these adapters! Highly recommended!

A pesar de que el adaptador es gx23, la entrada está mal realizada pensé que era problema del primer lote que pedi porque de los diez solo me llego uno que embonaba en mi lámpara, pero el segundo lote qué pedí tiene el mismo fallo sus salidas son demasiado gruesas y no corresponde a la base de los focos que tengo

Sizing is not right as what was received is a bit wider than what the standard should be. See picture where it shows larger than the one on the left that is a correct size which is what is displayed on the product web page. Will have to return since it does not fit.

Well made adapter, fits well in the GX23 socket allowing to use generic E26 LED light bulbs.
