YolkR Egg White & Egg Yolk Separator, Black

Husband is pleased to daily have his egg whites before work...so that's a win in my book!

My YolkR doesn't seem to have a good seal between the bulb and the plastic nozzle. When the bulb is squeezed, the lip wants to come up just enough to allow a leak, which limits the available suction and therefore the ability to fully pick up a yolk.I suspect this is a common issue, because when I contacted the manufacturer for support, they sent me a PDF explaining how to ensure a good seal. Following their instructions didn't solve my issue, and they stopped responding.I bought a Tovolo Yolk Out instead, and I'm having much better luck with it.

I've tried several similar items with reasonable success, but I liked the idea of the clear plastic which would help reduce the amount of white loss. Very simply, the unit I got couldn't produce enough suction to pick up a complete yolk. I contacted the company and was advised to make sure the seal was solid (I'm not an idiot) and was later told I could return it, but needed to put tape on it and sign and date it so their R&D department could study it. It reminded me of some sellers on eBay that make things so cumbersome you finally take your losses and move on. Fortunately, Amazon took care of it and I just threw the thing away.If you have time to wait, I would suggest the under$2 version from Chin.

Nice Yolkr! I rinsed and tried it right away without any issues. The item is a bit larger than I expected. The fact that it's larger means you only need to clean the clear BPA-free plastic part, if you're careful to not suck up the yolk too hard.

It wont work the way should be

This is the biggest waste of money. Doesn't work at all. Have had different people try it and no one can get it to work. Emailed company for help and they never even responded.

Semplicemente l'acquisto più utile che abbia mai fatto! Non sono bravissimo a separare le uova come fa nonna e questo Yolkr (che io ho tradotto in TuorlMinator) mi fa risparmiare tantissimo tempo. Nessun problema dopo il lavaggio in lavastoglie (anche con programmi con acqua a 80°)!

...welches seine Funktion voll erfüllt. Man kann, muss es aber nicht haben.Allerdings für Freunde von neckischem Küchenzubehör ein Muss.

Der YolkR macht das Trennen von Eiweiß und Eigelb vielleicht nicht arg viel einfacher, aber definitiv spaßiger, komfortabler und sieht ziemlich fancy aus. Eine PET-Flasche würde es prinzipiell auch tun, aber die funktionierte bei mir nicht sonderlich zuverlässig... ich würde den YolkR jederzeit wiederkaufen.

A malincuore devo scrivere che mi sono trovata malissimo. Il prodotto non funziona. Risucchia il tuorlo solo a metà e quindi lo spezza.Non so se sono io che sbaglio qualcosa, ma non riesco a farlo funzionare :(

Fonctionnement difficile car le caoutchouc de la poire est trop rigide, l'utilisation à deux mains est nécessaire, le résultat n'est pas probant
