Uneducated nonsense.
It didnt take more than 5 minutes to discover how badly written this book is. I'm not convinced that Koetting's editor, Timothy, is even a real person because it seems impossible that two people could work on this book (3rd edition, no less) and still let it turn out as bad as it is.There is clearly no understanding of basic grammar and there are several points where sentences just end without finishing their thought. Sometimes there is no punctuation either.Absolute waste of money. Explore the classics if you want to learn anything worthwhile. This guy is a fraud.

This book is great. I’ve been following EA Koetting’s YouTube channel for years now, and just a little while back did I make the decision to get his books and read for myself a bit more of what he’s truly about. I believe the guy is very talented, and like I said, I’ve been following his channel for quite sometime and that has allowed me to see for myself how genuine he is when it comes to his magick and how much he’s matured spiritually since the first time I ever saw him years ago. There’s a lot of misconceptions when it comes to him and his true message. Most of those that hate him would probably laugh if they heard that part of his message is one of LOVE... self knowledge, self love, self appreciation and ascent, non conformity with what you’ve been told ( learn real spirituality), stop turning the other cheek just because some fake guru told you it should be so, love and respect for each other as the Gods and Goddesses we are, respect for the planet we inhabit, harmony among all species that share this land with us, etc etc etc.... this is just part of the hidden message I’ve gotten. Yes, he prefers working with dark forces and admits no shame in doing so, but in my eyes it’s much better than those that preach one thing and do another. 9 out of 10 magicians work with dark forces but only 1 or 2 or none will admit it. The problem here is mostly one of religious fanaticism and spiritual ignorance. People forget (and outright ignore) that the same being that created angels, created demons and everything else there is. This Universe works within a matrix of balance. In order to see light you need to have darkness. I’m not a fan of the guy, I might not try half of the rituals he does (maybe I will, who knows) but I call fake out when I see it, and this guy is as authentic as they come. Well, back to the book.... I like the order the lessons are laid out, the typos are annoying but I don’t believe a star should be taken off because of this. That would be for an editor’s feedback, not the book’s itself. Another thing that it’s a bit confusing is that some of the exercises details are half told. I don’t know if this is due to some typos or because this book was originally a Manual for members of his now gone Order, therefore the student had direct access to Koetting’s guidance at all times. That would have made any repetition on the Manual, unnecessary. That’s the impression I get when reading some exercises that assume I already should know this or that. Luckily these are not many the instances, and for the most part, do not render the exercise undoable. The instructions are fresh, very direct and to the point, and powerful as well. Much better than attempting Kraig’s Modern Magick -Twelve Lessons In the High Magickal Arts which is “good” for those wanting the long, tedious, unnecessary traditional approach (doesn’t mean more powerful by no means). This little manual will propel you to ascent as long as you follow it to the T and keep adding to your ascent ladder. Hope this helps.🖤
