Taihao 140 Key PBT Double Shot Backlit Keycap Set - Deep The Forest (Blue)

The caps feel flimsy and cheap but for the price they do the job. Lighting doesn’t look nearly as good as advertised.

I purchased these directly from the manufacturer which turned out to be about the same price. They are a rare, rare thing. A completely comprehensive set of caps for nearly any keyboard layout, the amount of alternative keys this set come with is amazing and for me it was worth the extra money. I am waiting on an f96 keyboard which has a 96 percent layout. This requires some less common size keys that I have been hard pressed to find. This feature alone made it a worthwhile investment since the set will account for all my needs with the less common layout.I have them paired with some rubber gaming caps from tai-hao (the same company) and it makes for a really beautiful and premium looking set up. The plastic is thicker than the pbt pudding caps from hyper x that I was replacing, which improved the sound of the clack noticeably. The sound is deeper now, and quite pleasant, even on these cheap oetemu brown switches. I will update my review when my new, much higher quality keyboard arrives and I have transferred the caps over.I have read reviews on these caps that complain about the texture of the pbt. These do have a distinctive matte and rougher texture to the caps than any others I have used. I really like it, it provides for a nice grip when typing or gaming and makes them feel very rugged. I think it is matter of personal preference. If you are looking into pbt at all this might be something you really appreciate already because I noticed a more textured feeling when I originally switched over from ABS. They are not the thickest plastic I have ever seen, but It is better than the really cheap sets, and I have not seen better with a shine though product.The colorway is BEAUTIFUL, as I stated it is composed of matte subtle colors. The legend is fine, a standard and clean choice. One thing to note is that the three colors making up the set are not well represented in the photo of the listing. There is the dark, steely blue, a light grey on the enter and escape keys and darker grey (not at all black) for the modifier keys. They also make a more green version if that is what suits your set up.Overall this is an excellent set of shine through caps with a beautiful and subtle colorway for any blue themed build. The only thing to consider is the high cost of shipping, but mine came direct from Taiwan via FedEx in only 3 days!Edit: I have moved the caps to a f96 board from Iqunix. This is the main reason I bought this kit to begin with. As I mentioned above this is a strange layout but I am happy to report that this incredible kit had all the keys necessary for this unusual 96% layout. The only key that was a little weird was a 1 U sized zero key for the num pad. Thankfully the kit comes with a handful of blanks for various rows which I used for this slot. I can't say enough good things about this kit; there really is a lack of kits like this in the market. A high quality, multi color, shine through, double shot pbt kit, with a huge amount of compatibility.

The keycaps look great on my Razer Huntsman TE and they came very fast
