Tao of Alan Watts: 444 Expressions of Zen Kindle Edition

This is a fine addition if you’re just looking for a cool coffee table book full of good quotes. However, if you’re a big Alan Watts fan it might be wise to look this one over. It often repeats the same quotes and has several spelling and punctuation errors. It seems the editor must’ve simply skimmed through the pages and said it looks good. Still a fun and easy read, just might be better off getting something penned by the man himself.

A collection, without commentary, of Watts’ aphorisms and platitudes, full of his grandiose self-love. Reminds me why I dislike him. Not Zen.

I always enjoy reading and listening to the work of Watts. Puts many complex issues of life into a perspective providing easy understanding of deep philosophical issues.

I loved reading this pithy/proverbial statements my Mr Watts. This is a great way to begin your journey of Watts land; through this book.
