I took a chance on ordering this online, but I already had an Electrolux induction range in 2007. It finally gave out, but we had some electrical issues that could have impacted that. I really love induction ranges because they stay so clean and heat up so fast. I already had stainless steel cookware, so this newer version suited all my needs. Looking back, it does take some getting used to, but once you find you can clean is with just water and dry it with a soft towel, it makes cooking a pleasure with minimal cleanup. If stubborn stains occur because of overspills, you can use the special cleaner, but I found that 90% of my cooking only requires wiping with a clean wet dishrag (the kimd with nylon netting on the back), then wiping with a soft towel makes the surface look like new. Plan on having an experienced elecftrician installing it--that cost me about $200 because of the special connections and rerouting of wiring.

Our old Electrolux died. We were happy to find this one. Only drawback is they no longer seem to make a hybrid with regular and induction in the same cooktop.Best part - it fit perfectly in the cutout in our quartz countertop 😊

I love the look and the ease of use - Electrolux did a great job with this this cooktop. The European styling is very evident and the top cooks wonderfully. I will take some pics. soon!
