I had used another product for several years that did the job just fine - padded our brick fireplace hearth so my littles were less likely to have bumped/bruised heads. My only complaint with my old product was it came in 3 pieces. The middle piece was something I had to continually put back on due to little fingers learning how to pull it off.I love this option so much more!! It’s all one piece with a better quality, thicker foam. The surface is smooth and looks luxurious. You can easily cut to size to customize. Instructions were very thorough and helpful. I was a bit worried about not having the corners covered. I left a slight overhang when I cut the piece down and then used what I cut off to cover the corners. I cut the excess into strips and adhered it to the ends of the cover with the extra tape they provided. Worked perfectly. It’s also made here in the USA. I would recommend this product to anyone!

So far we are loving this hearth pad! It’s high quality padding that is not too soft or firm. There is plenty of give to keep kids safe from brick. We ordered a 108” and it fit perfect. It can be cut if needed. The tape was a little tricky getting the blue backing off but we intimately got it! Only draw back would be that it doesn’t come in white. The gray is subtle though. I would recommend!

The product is great. The tape doesn’t stick to brick but put it in the right place and have something to hold it in place and it does just fine.

Just buy it. Worth every penny. Ease of mind with littles running around, and it’s the best looking option I’ve seen on the market. Very soft, thick, high quality, tape works great, very easy to install. Very cutesy. Very demure.

This product is exactly what we were looking for to cover our brick fireplace. The kids love to play around the fireplace, but the brick corner had caused some injuries in the past. The foam was easy to install and the carpet tape included with the product worked great for adhering the foam to the fireplace. It has been installed for nearly a month and shows no sign of coming loose. If it does, they provided a whole roll of carpet tape, so it would be easy enough to replace the old tape with some new strips. Definitely recommend this product.

The « double sided tape » was so old that it wouldn’t separate, so I couldn’t use it. Very very frustrating. For the price of this item, it’s insulting. It’s also not much padding. I mean, yes, it will stop someone from hitting the bricks directly, but they’re still going to get hurt. Needs to be twice as thick at least.The makers of this product emphasize the country of origin quite a lot. Cheap sympathy play. Try making a product we’d be proud to say is made here. Otherwise, it’s cheap talk.

Wasn’t hopeful with the tape that came with the packaging from the get-go.. We bought gorilla glue double sided tape from Walmart to install this, other than the tape I really love this product! Perfect for our new house, worth the money!Same brand from Walmart I bought the edge protector things and everything went together as well as I could’ve hoped!edit: Yesterday my toddler fell backwards from sitting into the corner area of the brick! THANK GOD I bought this product first thing, she bounced off it and didn't even phase her! Seriously recommend!
