This is my second Bare Botanics product. I bought one of the sugar scrubs last time and the exfoliation level wasn't enough for my body, so I decided to try this salt scrub. And this one is just the right amount of exfoliation for me. The container does warn that the exfoliation level may be to harsh for the face, so when I do use it for my face I use a small amount and dissolve it a bit with some water. I also have sensitive skin and I have NOT had any issues with this scrub irritating my skin. As always it smells amazing!

I have been a user of salt scrubs for many years, and the Bare Salt Scrub is a winner! My first jar of the lavender citrus scrub arrived last week, and because I have a soft spot for great packaging, it was a beautiful first impression. But not just a pretty face - the proof is in the product, which smells incredible, has a delicious texture, and no greasy mystery oils. Best of all, it is made in America’s heartland - Wisconsin!If you have never used a salt scrub, you are missing one of the most healing, moisturizing, and relaxing things you can do for your skin. I will be a customer as long as this company exists, and I will be buying their lavender citrus scrub as a gift for my friends. Do not miss out on the “Bare”experience!

I don’t leave reviews at all so let’s go. This product was amazing. When you open the jar the smell is not overwhelming but faint enough that you can actually smell the citrus. If you follow the directions on the jar and you give yourself a nice soak with a close shaver then you have the best shave you could ask for. I recommend getting one of those old men’s shavers that come with the disposable razors that you can insert and shaving at a 45° angle. When you put on the scrub, it leaves your skin slippery enough to shave without shaving cream but I tend to use a men’s shaving cream with moisturizer directly after. This is giving me silky smooth skin but I haven’t been able to achieve since I got a wax. I’m never going back.

I ordered this to try on my elbows which always seem to be rough. The scrub works well to take off the rough skin and the oil helps my elbows stay soft. I really like this product.

Excellent product - can highly recommend

I seen this on a amazon influencers page and have been searching for a new body scrub. I enjoy this one but not in love with it. Its a great scrub, and leaves you feeling baby skin soft, but the scent is so potent I sneeze every time I start using it. Im not allergic to any of the ingredients, but I am very careful and aware of products I use. If you are a big scent person I would recommend. if your looking for something more on a natural basis, probably not.

All in all I am currently unsure about this scrub. I must say it took me FOREVER to find a scrub without any nut oils because I am allergic and cannot use anything with those oils. So I was very excited when I found this company. The packaging was amazing. It was truly such a nice touch to open a packaging with an item literally wrapped with love. The details were great. A bow, little thank you note cards, a complimentary sample of another scrub. Everything was great except the consistency of the scrub. It’s very oily. I even stirred it and it’s still quite watery. It’s not very thick. It’s very gritty which I do like. It does make my skin feel very nice after using in the shower but I have such extreme dry skin that I must immediately put lotion on once I get out of the shower. So - I think in the end I’m still a little unsure about this scrub due to its watery consistency. Nonetheless - the shop did put a lot of thought into packaging which was nice - I just wish the scrub wasn’t as oily because it makes it very difficult to open in the shower (the oil leaks out of the container hence making it slippery to open). I will use this bottle and at that point decide if I would repurchase.

I normally never leave product reviews, but this product was THAT fantastic! Fantastic customer service - from communication to packaging and most importantly quality. My skin was never been softer and brighter. The price point may seem steep but for the quantity and quality it’s money well spent (it’s a big jar). So many products claim to be all natural and work wonders, only to find out with some not great packaging and lack luster quality it’s nothing more than a body wash with some salt. This is SO different! The packaging comes in a personal box with wrapping making it feel like a true gift. Quality is impeccable with truly all natural and one week later I can feel the difference - my skin is glowing, softer and brighter due to this awesome all natural combo. Currently looking at which scrub to try next! I’m hooked
