Stainless Steel Ruler Cork Back Measuring Ruler, Used for Drafting, Measuring, Drawing, Art - 18 Inch Ruler

This is a good metal ruler for art projects but it is a bit flimsier than I was hoping which is why I knocked off one star. When using a knife along the edge I have to make sure it’s straight and not bending one way or another with the pressure of the knife on the side of it. It is overall a good ruler just wish it was a little more rigid.

Why did I not know this product exists? The cork back is indispensable for accurate cutting with any kind of craft knife- no slippage!

The ruler was a bit wobbly when I expected it to be firm

Needed a cork-backed metal ruler and got the least expensive one I could find. Definitely worth the price and does exactly what I need it to do.

It helps me get accurate measurements and then I use it to get clean and accurate cuts, using a knife, rather than scissors.

Cork holds it place, arrived boxed and unbent.

The cork backing isn’t placed on evenly, and the metal is so thin it slices through lead as you drag pencils across it. Also pretty sure it isn’t straight. If I put it up against the edge of a straight edge paper and draw, the line in the inside is slightly angled and not parallel to the paper edge.The ones from the dollar store are better, I went to get one after seeing how terrible this one was.
