Only wish I bought this a long time ago!!
When I bought my 2010 Prius (brand new) I was highly disappointed that Bluetooth audio was not an option. For years I plugged my phone in using the auxiliary cord. When I upgrade to the new iPhone 7 that no longer had the auxiliary cord I tried a couple different option but for anyone who uses Waze and plays streaming music while driving you know that you really need to have your phone charging at the same time or your phone will be completely drained. I tried a couple different splitters and looked into bluetooth receivers, but nothing seemed to be a good option. Then, I cam across this and thought I would give it a try. Now my only regret is that I didn't buy this years ago! I can't believe I've been plugging my phone in all these years when I could have bought this. My prius has a center console that hold both a cigarette lighter and the auxiliary plug. I was able to plug this in and close the console completely and not see it. This does come with a control system that you could stick on your dashboard. However, with Siri and the ease of changing a song on my phone, I have no need for that. When I get into my car and turn it on the bluetooth unit turns on and you will hear a chime telling you its on. My phone is instantly connected. I do not need to select the bluetooth, turn anything on - it just works seamlessly. Now I get in my car and turn on Waze or Google maps and it instantly plays through the speakers. If i turn on my music it plays as well.Another thing to note - to anyone who plugs into the auxiliary cord in their car like I did, you most likely also notice that the sound quality greatly improves over bluetooth. It was one of the first things I noticed and was ready to give the device 5 stars just for that, but the fact that it instantly turns on when I turn my car on and connects instantly makes me wish I could give it 10 stars. This was a game changer for me as I love my car and have no plans to turn it in anytime soon.

Only one downside.
The only thing I don't like about this little unit is that every time it connects to my phone, it automatically puts the Bluetooth volume on my phone at 50%. So I have to pull my phone out of my purse and turn the volume up. I'm not sure if that's normal.Otherwise, this small, compact product that does exactly whats advertised. Connects pretty much instantly, which is very impressive. It's connected to my phone and playing music before I can even put my car in drive. The buttons are nice and clicky, the lights in the buttons are not at all bright so it doesn't blind you when driving at night.I was a little weirded out by the charger, the seams in the plastic have some pretty substantial gaps in it and the USB ports were skewed to one side. It felt really flimsy and not what I expect from an Aukey product. I erred on the side of caution and used a car charger that I already have. The cables are long enough for the installation, I was able to hide it under dash panels so the only thing you see is the little remote.Call quality is good and the people that have called me haven't mentioned an echo.

Bluetooth connection is the only thing it has going for it.
The bluetooth connection was easy to setup and connect with. However, that is the only good thing about it. I have tried a few other brands and notice some slight buy key essential differences. First, it automatically started to play your music every time you connect. Some may like that feature, but I didnt' like it. Second, it appears metallic, but just plastic, so that was a huge letdown. And last and probably the most important thing, IT DOESNT PLAY IN STEREO!!!. I was only getting the left side of my car's audio to work. I messed with the radio settings and no luck. I thought my speakers went bad, but the radio plays fine. I though it was my AUX port, but a different cable and setup works perfectly. I had to return it. A few weeks later the company contacted me, but I told them about my issues and I returned it. They offered a discount for the troubles, but i inquired about other options and never heard back. Its been about 4 days now. I guess they don't care about me anymore

Poor Design, Poor Execution - Don't Buy It
I was very disappointed with this item. I used to have a Himbox version of this same thing but the wires got frayed - it was a reasonable time for that to happen. The Himbox replacement was over $40 so I went with the Aukey. It is designed poorly and constantly drops by google maps. The button is split into thirds - the Himbox had a large pause button in the middle and two arrow buttons at the top. The idea is that I should NOT have to think about this when operating it, but because of the poor design I have to. As for the bluetooth - I have to regularly reconnect this to my phone - I didn't have same problem with the Himbox. When I go from google maps directions to a phone call and back to directions I lost the sound on the directions. Also I'm unable to listen to music when the aukey is plugged into one of the usb connections. None of these problems existed with the Himbox. This was not worth the money - you should not purchase this item.

Game changer for non-Bluetooth cars!!!
I have a 2010 Nissan Altima. I love playing music in my car because the sound system (original system in the car) is A+. I hated that this had no Bluetooth but an aux port. I could’ve spent hundreds of dollars and had the radio replaced with one that has Bluetooth, but who has money for that in the middle of a pandemic? 😁I decided to give this little gadget a try and see what it was all about. I’ve had it for a little less than a week and I absolutely love it! I found a nice spot to mount the Bluetooth that was out of the way and managed to tuck the wires out of sight (somewhat lol). I love that when I start up my car the Bluetooth automatically comes on and connects to my device. The sound quality is still just as good and the ease of the hands-free controls was a plus. I could use either the hands-free or my phone to control my music. It has 2 was to mount 1. Permanent or 2. Magnetic. I chose magnetic because well I think it’s better for me. The cons about it is that it will shift when touched, but the pros is if I ever needed to replace it I can just easily remove the old one and place the new one on the magnet. My overall opinion is this is a game changer for the older, non-Bluetooth cars. You gotta get it! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Nice product! Clarity in voice and no hassles
Nice product! Clarity in voice and no hassles. Playing next song when connected to my Iphone 7 was bit tricky, and had to change the songs from the phone itself.

Works well
Got it for an old car so that car stereo could be used for hands free phone calls. Works well, can stream and control audio to the car stereo from phone then can answer incoming calls by tapping the device. Saved replacing the car stereo head unit with a bluetooth one. You do need a AUX in socket on the car head unit.
