Eris E66

I was about to buy the Eris44 since I had my eye on it as one of my choices for quite some time. I had a moment of weakness and told myself to get the best... not just better! I am truly happy about that decision. The Eris 66 has a very clean, tight sound that allows me to scrutinize even the tiniest changes in my production. Its like wearing headphones... without the headphones! This was an AWESOME purchase, and I'd recommend it to those looking for pro gear. As you can see by the pics, NOW I have to get the desk to spread this stuff out... but I know it look and sound great!!!

I actually use these for computer gaming speakers, they sound incredible. Sound staging is second to none. Lots of power! Update. After extended use on my computer for gaming and some Itunes, these are a great investment. The sound absolutely is fantastic. No quality or longevity issues. (but my neighbors hate me because the blast out the great sound!). I also have these thru a power sequencer, and no issues there either.

I purchased a pair of the E66's, and I've been sitting with them for a few months now. I do a good deal of music production and sound editing, and I am pleased with the sound I get out of these two, it really is on par with some much more expensive monitors. But they are hindered by the fact that they are so susceptible to RFI! I constantly get interference on these when my cell phone is near by. And after a good deal of experimenting, I'm 100% certain it's not my fault. I'm using a balanced connection (of course) and both of them are plugged into a power conditioner (which I also tested for faults). Even when no audio cable plugged in, these things still spit out interference! The "solution" I've come up with is to put my cellphone in a little tinfoil sheath while I work, but this leads to missed calls and many unhappy people who think they're being ignored. It's a problem I've never had on any of my other monitors, and it's a deal breaker. If you're on the fence about these speakers, look elsewhere. I took a chance on PreSonus after hearing mixed reviews from my peers, and I'm sorry to say that I was disappointed and I will never buy a PreSonus 'anything' again.

Love them them so much a bought the E44's for my bedroom set up.

update: 3 months later, both HF Drivers/Tweeters went out... Not a soul around to help find replacement drivers. Presonus doesn't reply, sweetwater doesn't reply, and one other company that I won't mention doesn't reply. I bought them from sweet water. I don't care If I have to pay for the replacements I just want them fixed at this point. Good luck with any customer service these days >: / by the way Amazon's customer service is very good I have never had an issue with them. At this price range ima happy camper! I dont need to go into details cuz way to many other did that already. Im coming from KRK Rokit 6 RPG2 monitors. I never really loved them but I kept them for 8 years and used the heck out of them. Well one of them finally crapped out and I moved to these ERIS E66's over all the other monitors Ive been looking at. Im gald I did. I hate to say it but ill never go back to KRK's.

A decent speaker, have some issues with TRS input but it is nice when it works.

Îch bin ein großer Fan von der Marke Presonus, da ich auch viele andere Geräte wie Mischpult, Boxen etc besitze. Leider ist von 2 bestellten Monitoren einer defekt. Hoffe jetzt auf ein funktionierendes Ersatzgerät. Zum Klang: ja ein kleines bischen Grundrauschen ist vorhanden. Aber ich denke das kann man vernachlässigen. Ansonsten macht der Monitor viel richtig. Die Einstellmöglichkeiten auf der Rückseite helfen dabei, einen guten Frequenzgang hin zu bekommen. Preis/Leistung ist natürlich sehr gut. Trotzdem 5 Sterne, da ich auf ein funktionierendes Gerät hoffe.

Il monitor audio è perfetto per creare setup surround, e in questo caso svolge ottimamente il compito di canale centrale, con buona presenza di medi e alti abbastanza morbidi. Purtroppo però, almeno nel mio caso, generava un rumore di fondo troppo udibile. Senza alcun ingresso audio, anche a distanza di 1 metro riuscivo a percepirlo, segno che è proprio un rumore "prodotto" dalla cassa.

Great speaker sounds great has a decent low end so if you have a smaller room no sun is needed Happy with them
