These pants are lightweight and well made. The fit is baggy in the legs, a bit long at the knee -- made for a taller person -- 5'9" ish -- 30 length ran long and the fit is loose. The material is lightweight, water resistant and dries fast so they are great for actual hiking and maybe too baggy for regular casual wear.

One slight drawback was they needed to be altered because the leg length were a bit long for my husbands 30” length

These are nice lightweight hiking pants with very good pockets. When you think about it, if two pairs of pants fit well and are made of similar materials, the only possible design differences are the belt loop and the pockets. These pants have 5 belt loops and an elastic waist band making for a very comfortable fit around the waist. The front top pockets are nice and deep and cut so that hands go in easily but nothing falls out when you sit down. There is an extra deep "pocket watch" pocket on the right hand side which is just right size for a pen or pocket knife. My favorite pants for hiking in the heat.

I ordered up a size for more room and the legs were a bit baggy but the thighs tight. So I ordered 2 sizes up and the legs were ridiculous but the thighs still snug. The waist was now huge but the included belt could deal with that. Straight cut jeans fit fine as a reference. Knee zippers too low and caught on my knees when stepping up causing the pants to pull down or bind if the belt was on. Material quality seems good as was for and finish. If you have long legs and skinny thighs, these might just be for you.

The pants seemed of good quality, just the sizing is off, too small for what it said. So I started a return, took it too a UPS store. That was Aug 24. It is now Sept 6 and the return status still just says "return started, you will get refund when we receive the return". 13 days and no refund. Usually I get the refund the same day I drop it off at UPS. When I try to get help, I get trapped in the Amazon run around system when it just brings me back to the refund status. I can't find a real person to contact, even through a chat online to help me. I don't know if it is Amazon or the seller that is not processing the refund. I had already ordered the next size up before I realized I was not refunded yet for the first ones. They are also too small, but I am concerned about returning them and not getting my money back. Maybe keep them and sell them, but I would rather return, AND get my refund.

Great pants, bought them for my son. Who is a 29/34. They fit whis waist perfect they are just a little short works great for shorts on him tho!
