Worth the buy
Besides the install being a little difficult as you can see in the slope the cover is excellent. Keeps the sun out, make the area under seem a tad cooler. Will order more for other areas of the yard. 10ร16

Great buy, but buy the hardware also on Amazon
The product color and easy installation worked well. But what they need to tell you the price stays great if you get that hardware *Not included* from Amazon because if you buy hardware later not knowing from Lowes, Home Depot or Ace it's going to add and I mean add $60 dollars in parts they have recommended parts on the sheet inside box. Nothing and I repeat nothing is coming with product but rope, lol Yelp.

Great shade
I leave mine up year round. I typically get 3 years out of each in the hot sun at the beach. Very pleased I am a repeat buyer.

Quality and Price Hit the Mark - Do your homework
Okay , where to begin. First and foremost READ THE DIRECTIONS AND ALL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. I read many reviews before buying this and if most people would have just taken the time to read they could've saved themselves a ton of heartache and time!! Ordered the 16'x20' May of 2021 and used it for one summer so far. The shade coverage was enough for a rectangle table and 6 chairs, 5 piece rattan outdoor furniture set, a cooler table, an extra- large deck box and still had PLENTY of space to walk freely between them!!! We took it down in October 2021 for the season and saw that there was a tear along one of the seams. We contacted Amazon and they replaced the product immediately. We did purchase the 5 year extended warranty for this item and I HIGHLY suggest you do the same because it just makes sense! Pay the extra $13 and know that for at least 5 years you will have a product that you can enjoy for several seasons. We did not have to make a claim for the replacement because it was still covered under the manufacturers warranty.Things to KNOW and SUGGESTIONS:- the item was exact color and size that was pictured (note: the dimensions are from D ring to D ring, it is not perfectly square and it's not designed to be. The sides arc in some and this allows you to get the shade taut).- It is great relief from the sun but it is in no way water-resistant, a light mist will soak anything underneath it.- If there is heavy rain it will pool in the center and sag, so make sure to put it at a slight angle downward on one side to allow the water to run off.- Use at a minimum 4x4 10 foot posts (bigger diameter would be better) for larger sun shades to support the tension and decrease the chances of the post bowing. We attached the sail to the eaves and then 2 posts on the opposite side. We buried and cemented and the posts 1/3 in the ground.- Get quality turnbuckles, carabiners, and thick wire, etc. to attach the shade. Do not use the flimsy rope that comes with it if you expect the shade sail to be taut and not droop. You may have to tighten throughout the season depending on the wind/weather it sustains and how much it naturally stretches.- When tightening the sail be sure to tighten corners that are diagonal from one another so it will tighten evenly. If you start in one corner and move in a square you will hate everything about this item because it will ALWAYS be uneven and droopy.- I suggest using rivets to reinforce the seams (or a big needle and string).- WATCH VIDEOS on the different ways to set up the shade sail to make assembly as simple as possible, you will be grateful you did.Overall the item was what I expected and as long as you take care of it and do your research assembly will be pretty simple. I would but this again!

A little tricky to get perfect
We love the shade, the color, the texture, and it transformed the patio into a defined space now with some shade for all hours of the day. Great purchase I am thinking of getting another as a spare, Im not sure how long they will last.At first it was very frustrating to install, I had dug and cemented 5x5 posts in the ground and then had to mount eye screws on the brick wall of the house.the directions or lack thereof arent very specific, I do all my own home renos and figured this was easy peasy, it took a few times to get it right, some youtube videos helpedI installed cleats on the posts (see picture) like you would find on a dock but way smaller because undoing knots was a pain in the butt, so as the shade relaxed and the wrinkles came out over a few days the cleats allowed me to re-tension the shade just right, Ive been doing this everyday and now today it looks like i dont need to anymoreAs you can see in the pics the rope ( I had to go buy some) is looped around 3 times as per a dude on Youtube, this made tensioning it so much easier without rope burning your hands. The rope they give you may be adequate for some people, it didnt work in our situation, so i got 100 foot of polyester rope which stretches the least of most ropes, it worked great and was only 9 bucksI didnt order the hardware kit as I didnt think i would uise the turnbuckles or cheap plastic plugs. I went with lag eye screws with lead shields in the brick, Its solid and I can sleep not worrying it pulls out of the wall,So the 80 buck shade ended up costing me about 350 to 400 bucks including posts, hardware, cement, rope etc and a few hours digging 50" holes since we live in a frost area

Turned it into a pergola
We incorporated this shade sail in a pergola and it looks especially sweet because the sides have a bit of a curve to them and the corners are not at right angles. I like it a lot. We bought the terracotta and at first I was disappointment because in the package it looked very orange. Once we got it set up, it seemed to take on a bit more of a reddish colour and it looks great. Is definitely not rainproof when set up horizontal like this (we didn't buy it for rain protection, only for sun protection) but it offers a bit of a buffer to the rain. We will take it down for the winter. Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but seems like good value for the money.

2 Thumbs Up
Love these shade/sails. I used to have one from IKEA and used it till it wore out, but it wasn't as good as this style. The key is the fabric - this product is a woven synthetic, that allows air to pass through it, while at the same time provides a good amount of shade. I purchased another style of shade from Amazon but it was made of thin nylon 'oxford cloth' and caught too much wind and even on a slightly breezy day it became a danger; it caught the wind and blew off flipping around, breaking the bungee cord that was holding it in place and if anyone was standing near could have gotten a good swat with the D ring.I already had one of these sails installed as well, I bought the other brand of oxford cloth to add a pop of colour, but returned it for another of this Aster Outdoor brand. I recommend this type of sail, they look good, are sturdy and they do the job. I now have two the same in place, they're attached to the house/posts with a very strong hook and heavy duty bungee cords. They hardly move, even in the windiest conditions, they look great too and give very good shade despite the looser weave.

better than the last one
I returned one I previously bought. What I like about this one1. colour matches the pressured treated wood2. is not fully water proof, therefore water leaks though it rather than accumulating on top3. although at first I thought it not opaque enough it does indeed block enough light. See #2 above4. more true to advertised size5. price is much better than any other Amazon sail

Love it
I only gave it 3 stars for water resistance bc it is not to be totally water resistant any shade that is water will pool and it will and sag in the middle (no matter the angle you have it at) so this one has a woven fabric which allows the water to drip through but only in the low parts of the, so if it is pouring rain outside it will feel like a light rain under the shade. But I do not overly love the colour (Red/orange) but I ordered it late in the season and they were sold out of any of their nice colours.
