A very simple device to get temperature on your grill. Instead of having to buy a replacement thermometer, install it, etc. Temperature accuracy seems to be good.

The pic is after 1 60 min smoke can read it and not very accurate Not sure if it's a defect or bad seal but this company worked at a great pace to replace my item. The 2nd one works great thank you again for the easy to work with company will buy here in the future

Works fair- somewhat accurate & helpful

This is an awesome little tool for outdoor cooking. I use mine on my griddle. It’s not instant but when it’s on my griddle I don’t have to look for my temp gun. It doesn’t use batteries and I don’t have to plug it in. It just works. I got the AHG1 and the AHG2 and I’m not disappointed. I need to order one or two more. I keep one on the griddle one on the heating rack. I gave one as a gift to someone that didn’t think they would use it and they told me it’s an awesome tool.

Used it once on a cast iron griddle and found it to be very slow to read temperature and seems low by about 100F. My oil started smoking when the dial only showed 300F when the smoke point is well over 400F Too unresponsive to be useful and I don't trust the accuracy
