Okay, I wanted to wait a few weeks before I reviewed this because I have been disappointed with litter boxes in the past. I have had my cat for six years now, and it’s been a series of begrudgingly coping with the litter situation.I wish I had owned this litter box since day one. It is easy to set up, not totally ugly, and really easy to scoop (the scoop is small if that sort of thing bothers you, but it’s fine for me). The litter tracking is minimal without having to put it on a giant mat or anything. I left the lid off for a day for my cat to figure it out, and then she was totally cool with the lid by day 2. I use Slide litter with it, and there haven’t been any smell or sticking problems.Let me add by saying that in the six years I’ve had my cat, this is the 4th type of litter box setup I’ve tried. I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of money trying to find a setup that wasn’t hideous, messy, or smelly and was also easy to clean. My cat pees pretty high up on litter boxes for some reason, so I’ve had to deal with urine spatter for years. She’s also a pretty accomplished litter kicker. I’ve used litter boxes with hoods and two types of litter box enclosures. I was worried she wouldn’t go for the hole-in-the-top model because I had an enclosure that did that, and she would have none of that. She is totally cool with this one though!Cleaning the litter box has always been a dreaded chore because it was never just going to be simple scooping with my cat. I’d almost always have to have broom, vacuum, antibacterial cleaner, wipes, etc. Inevitably there would always be something to clean up around the box and in the enclosure. Now, it’s as simple as it always should have been, and I couldn’t be happier! This is a great box for my cat, and I hope it works out for yours too.

We bought this for a loner kitty in our household who needs his own box due to health issues. I do not like the idea of having to put an extra box in but this helped under the circumstances. It has helped tremendously to keep the litter from flying all over the room and floor due to it's top loading entry and tread on the surface. It fits conveniently tucked away in a corner and comes in a few colors that help make it not so obvious. If you have to have a box in a bedroom or a common room in your home then this isn't bad for the price. It is way better than having one of those covered litter pans in that room. It's not a 100% solution for litter winding up on the carpet or floor but it's pretty darn good for what it cost. It's sturdy and even comes with a small scooper and there's a spot to hang it as well so not bad for the cost. Lastly, it sits inconspicuously in the corner of the room so may resemble a small trash can at first glance. Overall, I would recommend this as an excellent value and a great solution for a necessary evil.

I found this litter box after seeing a similar concept on kickstarter but for WAY more money. We opted for the these because we weren’t sure if our cats would dig the top-entry and we will be sticking with these indefinitely. These boxes are great!!! They are nice to look at, easy to clean, and overall just less of a hassle than other boxes. We switched from traditional tray litter boxes with hoods and a swing door to these top entry boxes and it’s been a game-changer. So much easier to clean than with traditional boxes, and the kitties took to them without any issue. Also, we don’t need to use a liner which has made everything easier. They are easy to clean, litter seems to stay cleaner longer, and the kitties don’t track nearly as much litter out of the box. Lately, one of our kitties has been standing up tall to poop (she looks like a meercat, it’s so bazaar) so we took off the lids temporarily but it’s not the box’s fault she’s a weirdo. All in all, these are great and we will be permanently switching to this type of box.

It looks like an oversized bathroom garbage can that’s why I bought it. It is the size of 2 bathroom garbage cans combined. It’s really roomy. I have a 4 month old rescue kitten, he uses it! I thought all hope was lost because the kitten would never use it at first. We upgraded the standard basic litter box to this one and he started pooping in random places. What I’ve learned was to start with the top off and put a stool/steps/ramp whatever is on hand so the kitten can jump into the litter box just because it might be too tall for kittens. And make sure you keep the top off because they might be scared or can’t smell their poop to remember where the litter is. Do this a couple of times and then try it with the top on after a couple of days/week whatever your preference is. Once you see the kitten regularly using the litter without the top, I would put the top back on and still keep the homemade ramp. Once you think the cat is able to jump into the box remove the ramp and you’re good to go. I did use kitten attract litter(pink box) as well because the lavender litter I bought was repulsive for my kitten. Cons , the litter box doesn’t keep the poop smell in. And you’ll need a new poop scoop because the one included was too small. Other than that everything else was fine everything worked, no cracks and easy to clean.

We bought two of these for our kitties, they have been working well! They are a good size and easy to clean. Stylish and better looking than just an open cat liter box, and these top entry boxes also help with our kitty who loves to kick out liter. You will never get rid of all traces of litter scatter, but the trays on top help, and the top entry part helps in that area as well. We like these a lot so far!

As a first-time cat owner, I was dumbfounded with the amount of litter my cat was pushing out of the box and tracking all over the home. The high walls of the litter box allows mt cat to dig all he wants, and the top platform significantly reduce litter tracking. (Just don't place the litter beside another elevated horizontal surface, like a desk or couch arm, because they may opt to jump on that instead.) Combined with a litter mat, I am no longer vacuuming everyday. The lid, while not hinged, does work as if you're rotating it. You push the two side buttons, lift the same end up, and all the litter falls back in the box. (I had read another review comparing this to the perforated lid that the Modkat litter box has, but this design honestly works just as well.) It's a well designed and well built product, and I'll buy over and over again.

Tenía mis dudas al respecto del arenero pues encargué el grande y no sabia exactamente la medida que tenía, pero en cuanto lo recibí, que fue super rápido, me di cuenta que el tamaño es excelente para mi minino, cabe muy bien y se adaptó a él de inmediato, ya no tengo el problema de arena regada por todos lados, sólo la que va dejando con sus patitas al salir del arenero, pero eso ya es muy poco, el dueño me agrada, aunque el plástico lo imaginaba un poco más rígido, sin embargo creo que cumple su función y es exacto como se anuncia, trae su palita y un elemento para colgarla, es más discreto que un arenero convencional y es fácil de limpiar, lo recomiendo si estás pensando en comprar un arenero que ayude a evitar que tu gato tire arena por todos lados y le des un poco de privacidad cuando haga sus necesidades

Absolutely fabulous! I got the large size as I have a Siberian cat - not many other brands offered a bigger size. It is sturdy and any excess litter catches in the grooves. I use newspaper litter so it wouldn't have fallen through any holes. The grooves are more stylish too.I don't even bother taking the top off to take out the dirty litter. I just fish it out.This has saved me so much time! Agatha would throw her litter all over the carpet and it was so hard to clean up! This saves litter too. What a great investment!

I love this litter box! It's sleek and stylish, but more importantly, it works great and my kitty loves it. It keeps my floors so much cleaner compared to a traditional litter box. My cat is under 10 lbs, but I opted for the large box over the medium one. He likes the extra space and it stays cleaner longer. I recommend the slatted style top versus the style with the little holes. Several people have warned about their cat's paw pads getting stuck in them. Ouch!

Perfecta, al principio me pareció enorme, pero una vez que te acostumbras, te das cuenta que el tamaño es el ideal, ya que el gato puede escarbar (sin que la arena se salga) y sentirse más cómodo incluso cuando sea adulto el tamaño de la entrada seguirá siendo cómodo, la verdad bloquea el olor, la caja la limpió 2 veces a la semana (debería ser diario) y no desprende olores.La tapa tiene canales que atrapan la arena, si la dejas en la posición correcta para que el gato de unos pasos por ella (en vez de saltar a los costados) atrapa la arena (depende de la calidad de arena) por lo que ya no hay que barrer diario como cuando usas el arenero tradicional, y no hubo necesidad de comprar el tapete para sacudir las patas del gato.
