Excellent value Bdx22n Dual Electric Bass Guitar Gig Bag
This review is for the Bdx-22n. I bought both this and the regular guitar gig bag at the same time. However, I could easily swap the description of the guitar and the bass gig bags. For the price, this gig bag is superior to other single instrument gig bags at nearly twice the price. The construction on this case is excellent. The handles appear to be nylon seat belt style material and are riveted in to the main body of the bag. The carrying straps are solid and for someone carrying this bag backpack style, it would be very comfortable. The zippers appear to be of excellent quality. The overall material of the bag is excellent and looks very sturdy. The exterior padding on all sides is plenty thick enough to take most daily punishment of gigging. I would not recommend dropping it off a building or handing it over to a hostile roadie, but if you're responsible for carting your own gear, I don't think there is an easier and more inexpensive method to haul two bass guitars around with one hand. There is a long rectangular compartment that runs along the neck. I found my Tech21 Flyrig dropped in there easily, with enough room for the power supply and a couple of cables. On the body section of the bag, there is a compartment that easily fits my laptop and a tablet, with room left over for a 1 1/2" ring binder notebook. There is a smaller "wart" compartment attached to the main compartment that could easily hold a pedal or two, a few cables or whatever you might imagine. This bag will normally hold a couple of Jackson 5 string basses. These are 34" scale basses and 5 on a side headstock, which makes it longer than anything I have with 4 strings on it. I was concerned that these might be too snug for them, they they dropped right in. That said, I will still use a padded "sock" over the headstock to help protect the pointy end of a Jackson instrument.I just received this (and the guitar bag). Over time, if there is any reason these bags don't live up my expectations, this review will get edited to reflect the long haul. But on first blush with these, if you need to carry two bass guitars, this certainly will fill the bill and leave some money in your pocket. I wouldn't ever use these as checked luggage when flying, but if you're wrangling your own gear, it's a nice way to avoid another trip from your vehicle to the venue.

UPDATE Great value in a travel bag for guitar/bass
Here is an UPDATE, 2+ years in to my ownership. Yes, this is an inexpensive bag. BUT I have used it now for several complicated trips via air, and on a weekly basis for much of the past year. On my most recent trip I noticed the bag was failing along one of the seams -- a critical one near where the backpack straps attach. I noted that the bag comes with a 5-year WARRANTY. So I called the company. A replacement bag is in the mail to me today! If I could upgrade higher than 5 stars I would do so. For under $50 and this kind of service/support and really good functionality in between, this is a real VALUE. Are you a touring PRO? Still worth considering, even if you need to replace it every so often. I'm very glad I made this purchase and would even consider buying again! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I used this to bring 1 guitar and 1 bass plus accessories on a trip involving a lot of air travel. The backpack arrangement was very comfortable, even with my heavy load. It held up very well but even if it were to wear out after a few trips, the price point makes this a fantastic deal. I added a piece of foam to the bottom of the section I carried the guitar in. I carried straps, digital recorder, some cameras, spare batteries and all kinds of other stuff in the flexible pockets. I try to fly Southwest when traveling with guitar as they will allow instrument bags in the overhead. Even fully loaded, this bag had no trouble fitting and was easy to pick up and move around. Good interior and exterior protection for the axes (but be careful, anyway).

Excellent budget double or 2 bass gig bag, but too tight fit for violin style basses.
Mine didn’t come with any smell, and hasn’t stained the non-black basses black. Seeing those things in a few reviews had me worried, but not a problem for me. The interior could be softer, but it’s not terrible.Zippers seem great; not YKK, but not cheap, either. Decent amount of padding, good storage. Heavy with 2 basses, but the handles and shoulder straps should hold up well enough. It doesn’t fit violin style basses, though. :( I didn’t know the company also offers a gig bag specifically designed for those, and that they’re OOS everywhere at the moment, so it’s more my fault. Just know it will be a tight fit, probably too tight and not worth risking damage to your bass. But for P and J and the like, this is worth trying out.

Great price and product
I am replacing a Gator double bag with this bag. While the Gator was very high quality, the backpack straps on this make much more sense for a normal human being. The should anchor point is higher on the what would be the neck of the guitar making this very easy to transport on both or one shoulder. Surprisingly, this bag has a bit of a form that the bass sits. The bags are generous, and the quality seems very high. The extra padding under the headstock aids in protecting your tuners from getting bent. Fender tuners tend to bend easily if dropped. I actually fit a tripod mic stand, guitar stand, and mic and cables in the back rather than another bass. The logo is a little lame, but no one sees your gig bag really. There are some really nice rubber reinforcements to protect the edges that may rub against the ground or wall.I just can't wait to have a gig bag with backpack straps again.

Great Bag
I have always been hesitant to use gig bags. I prefer to keep my guitars and basses in hard cases. However, I decided to give this bag a try and I'm glad I did. It's very well made, with several large pockets which are great for holding cables, straps, tuners , sheet music, etc. Plenty of handles and the should straps are well made. The padding is also better than most bags I've seen at twice the price. Makes bringing instruments to gig much easier than using cases.
