Favorite brand no longer available, bought this, fairly close, LOTS of heat. Great for chicken or pork.

Very tasty
I use this on chicken thighs, grilled as well as pan seared a la Jacques Pepin. We love the flavor. Salty? Yes, so use it as a salt substitute. Hot? No, unless you have a very low tolerance for spicy hot. I consider it mildly hot.

It's All About the Jerk
I 1st purchased this on a trip to Jamaica a couple years ago and became worried when my supply began running low. But thanks to Amazon I was able to find it at a great price with great shipping. This is truly a one of a kind spice that can be used in and on many dishes. My wife and I love it on grilled fish but it works equally as well on pork, beef and even vegetables. Give it a try and don't be afraid to use a lot. The red color amy look hot but it is actually pretty mild.

AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN JERK SEASONING - THE REAL DEAL
Great taste. Authentic spice blend from REAL Jamaican sauciers. Beware though, the package I just got had a small hole in it, and the box filled the room with a strong curry jerk scent as soon as I opened it. If you are interested in learning how to "jerk season" food, this is THE STUFF you want to make your rub or past to apply to your food befre you smoke or slow cook it.

Caribbean in a bag
Nice tasting spice. This is a dry rub and should be used sparingly since it does have salt. I used it on some boneless chicken and popped it in the oven. The chicken turned out great! a tad bit spicy, but not overwhelming. I will like to try it on fish and pork, but so far with chicken it has been a hit.

You cannot get better!
We bought our first bag of this jerk seasoning in Jamaica when we were there for my sons wedding 5 years ago. We actually didn't try it until a couple years ago and WOW, this is the best!!! Everytime I do chicken on the grill I use nothing but this stuff. Peel the skin back on the chicken and sprinkle liberally underneath, stretch skin back and sprinkle liberally over the whole outside of the piece. I put wood chips in the belly pan of my gas grill and grill until done. Best chicken I ever had this side of Jamiaca, maybe better!!! Glad to see Amazon has this same exact thing. I will be ordering it forever!!!
