My 7 month old Lab is now on her second of these. She will literally lay there for hours chewing her stick quite happily. These are great value for money for how happy they keep my dog. They are very durable and even though we’ve bought a second, the first stick is still going, we just had to get the next size up as she is growing. In regards to the comments about sharp bits breaking off, we have never experienced this and all you seem to get are the occasional soggy very very small bits which have been chewed away. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to keep their dog occupied!

My puopy enjoys chewing all kinds of wood and branches he finds in the garden. I thought it would be safer to use this item (disease (found a wood worm), eating small pieces etc), but it does not feel at all like wood, far from it! It’s heavy and hard. Not surprisingly my puppy is not at all interested and he is not even playing it with it. I bought two (thinking one for inside and one for the garden) but it seems it was, at least for my dog, a waste of money...

Not as durable as I thought it would be...I have an English Bull Terrier so wasn't that surprised...they destroy toys very easily. He is enjoying gnawing on it..but I don't think it will last till February. Saying that..probably great for gentle gnawers!

I am not sure the exact reasons but my dog appeared to be/become allergic to this product. Each time he had it he would experience red eyes and itchy ears. Whether it contains some ingredient he is allergic to remains a bit of a mystery. The product itself however is well made and extremely durable, ideal for chewers as it does not disintegrate after 5 minutes use like most. Shame we had to discard the product due to the uncertainty of an allergy.

See photo. My dogs got through this much in a day, so maybe it will last, But... The small pieces that are left are hard, and sharp. I am really worried that they've consumed some, if they have I think there's risk of internal damage and potential of damage when it comes out the other end. We're throwing these away now.

I have experienced a serious problems with this bone - My golden retriever, a regular Nylabone chewer, has been repeatedly sick for 3 days bringing up largish particles of this bone ( we took it away after the first discovery of regurgitated bone). Either I have been sent a defective bone, and therefore request a refund - or these bones are not safe and not fit for purpose.

I opened the packet and gave to my dog, who took it from me, and has not stopped chewing on it since. This was an hour ago.I am very impressed with the quality. I have had other Petstages sticks before which my dog loves. This has been the first time I have bough a Deerhorn Chew Toy, and my dog seems to love it.The Deerhorn is described as small. My dog is a medium sized spitz type, who loves to chew, and this item is plenty big enough for her. I think it will last her for quite a while. just as other other Petstages sticks have.I will be purchasing further Petstages dog chew toys.

My dog loves this Petstages Durable Stick. I bought the small size, even though my dog is a medium sized puppy. It is bigger than what I thought it would be. She immediately started playing and chewing on the Stick, as soon as I gave it to her. It has been used a lot since.I prefer my dog chewing on this Stick, rather than ordinary sticks, because I worry about dirt and splinters with them.I will be buying further Petstages Sticks and other products that they sell.
