We use this tray for all sorts of activities with the children, art, messy play, creative play & plant potting. It is slightly smaller than a normal tuff tray which was perfect for us as we don't have much floor space when using it inside. Although smaller than a regular tuff tray it's still big enough for both of my girls to use together. We bought it to recreate preschool for our youngest to help with her learning. So far it's doing the job perfectly!
