SpeedoWomen's Swimsuit One Piece PowerFlex Princess Seam Ultraback Conservative Cut

I loved this swimsuit. But if you are a big girl with some extra jelly rolls like me, it may not be all that flattering. All I am saying is that the fit is perfectly comfortable and the quality of the material is strong yet soft and breathable. Just did not look hot on me.

This is my first Speedo fitness suit. But I'll definitely be ordering more. I take part in an aqua aerobics class 3 times a week. So I need a good long lasting suit. I've only been wearing this a few weeks so I can't exactly comment on the long lasting part, but I can review my experience with it so far.Pros: Very well made. It has a full powerflex liner and good bra. It feels very nice and firm while exercising. The princess seams work to make it a nice looking fit as well. I like the conservative leg cut.Cons: It is a tight fitting suit. If you are used to a nylon and spandex suit with a lot of give, this one will feel very tight and you may want to go up a size. Also, this is the first racerback style that I've worn and it makes it even a little harder to get in and out of.Waiting to see: As I said, I've only worn it for a few weeks. So I'm waiting to see if the xtra life Licra lives up to its billing and does last longer. I'll update this post in a few months to indicate the amount of fading and whether it stretches out like the nylon/spandex suits do.

Keeping both reviews and the product description in mind, I purchased a size 10. My measurements lately have been 35-29-41 (I've got a bigger butt than most folks my height). Below are the main areas of interest for me.PROS: I like the "conservative" cut as it actually covers a decent amount of my butt, as opposed to typical high-cut sports swimwear that bunches up in my crack after 5 minutes.The suit material is nice and thick, being double-layered, and the cups are sewn in so I don't need to jostle them around any time I use/wash the swimsuit.It's tailored so my waist is actually visible and I don't look like a rectangle...not that that's necessary, but I liked that detail.CONS: For thicker-thighed folks, the elastic around my butt is just tight enough not to move, but surprisingly the elastic around where my inner thighs meet my crotch is tight as HELL. It hurt and was a bit uncomfortable upon first wear - haven't had the chance to wear it again yet to see if that gets better over time.For pear-shaped folks, I have a decent sized chest (32DDD) and it's still loose up top. Not like the girls will flip out at any point, but not really any compression as I would like for a performance swimsuit. Unfortunately this is the same problem anyone more bottom-heavy runs into all the time with one-piece clothing items.All in all, a good quality purchase but heed my warning to anyone that is remotely pear-shaped.

This seems like a super nice swimsuit. My daughter has big thighs from playing hockey and we just couldn't make it work. Tried a couple different sizes and had zero issues with returning and switching them out. We had to move to a different cut and are happy with the other Speedo.

This suit started out great and was very comfortable. It also fit very well at first. However, within the first week, it started to stretch, especially in the chest area and almost immediately faded in color. I wore it for less than a month and had to throw it out. It had stretched out so much it was not useable, and the elastic in the suit was flaking off. I do swim everyday, but it should last longer than a month!

I've been using this once or twice per week for a few months now. It is holding up very well. Took up swimming for health reasons and this was my first, real pool swimsuit in ages. I choose this one for the great reviews and because of the decent ones that are not crazy expensive, this one seemed more on the modest side. I feel secure in it. Meaning I'm not worried about one of the girls accidentally slipping out while I'm swimming. Does help me concentrate on my movement and not on possible wardrobe issues. I always rinse it out after swimming and hang dry it. I will say it runs pretty true to size. I'm kind of between a 14 and 12. Went with the 14 for extra comfort but could definitely do with the 12 as well. It does feel like I have extra room but again, it is built in a way that I'm not worried about accidental boob showing. Absolutely recommend this one!

Love the shape and style. Super comfortable to swim in however I’ve started to notice fading and thinning of the fabric particularly along the straps and back.I’ve had it for a couple of months and while I do go swimming 2-3x a week I would have thought that a brand like Speedo would have a better retention of quality. I purchased this swimsuit with the intent of it being my go to workout suit and I don’t think it’ll end up lasting another 3mos. Again really sad considering the price point and brand.

I have bought this swimsuits many times, especially when I was swimming on a daily basis. Toronto pools use a lot of chlorine, so unfortunately it damages the cloth and stretchiness of the swimsuit.This is a perfect swimsuit for laps, very comfortable, fits a pear-shape body. I am 5’5 and have worn the size 10 when my weight was 65-70 kgs.

Edit: I bought this and have worn it 24 times, exactly, for lap swims that vary from 40-60 minutes. So less than 24 hours of wear, total. And it has disintegrated - the elastic between the breasts just gave out mid-swim. It is the correct size (bordering on too big, actually), has always been hand washed and hung to dry. So disappointed. I don’t know if it’s an anomaly or that’s the quality of these now… and because my month for refunds has passed I can’t contact Speedo to ask.Great for someone who likes a bit more coverage - longer cut on the leg (bikini area is well covered) and higher in the back.
