Gabbies second volume of poetry is even better than her first. It’s insightful. And delightfully creative. She included many personal elements to her friends and family- and yet still makes it broad enough to feel like there is something on each page for everybody. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a book of modern poetry that will make them feel all of the feelings. PS be prepared to think. This book is even more fun if you’re peeped for some prose analysis!!!

I think this is Gabbie’s best work yet and I can’t wait to see where she takes her talents next! I loved all the poems throughout the book (and the preorder incentives did arrive, just a day late on publisher’s end!!). Not all are meant to be serious, some are just plain silly and I honestly love the combo cause it helps break up the book to not be so dark all the time (not that the dark poems aren’t good-they’re there best ones in the book imho). Definitely worth the pick up if you enjoyed her last book Adultolesence or any work by Shel Silverstein (as he is one of her biggest inspirations, and it comes through her work)!!

This book is so great. I personally love this book better than her first poetry book. This book has fun poems and deeper, long poems that had me pause and really reflect on why the poem makes me have so much feelings. She gets real personal in this one to me. I also love the personal stories at the end of the book. Fantastic and easy read. Probably one of my favorite poetry books.

i read the first book of gabbie’s, adultolescence, and i was expecting that with this book, but i got so much more than what i expected. so many of the poems are unbelievably deep, if you’re willing to dig down that far. even if you’re just reading surface level, it’s still enjoyable. this book is the perfect amount of happy, funny, sad, gut-wrenching, and it’s now my favourite book. the illustrations are also beautiful must i add. HIGHLY recommend.

Gabbie’s writing Is great. It has something for everyone. It is relatable in a lot of serious ways but also playful. I love her drawings and the way she played with the images. Plus the fact she was able to add something special to three different versions is amazing. Love her!!

The book was amazing!! But I wanted to write a review because many said they didn't receive info on the pre order exclusive stuff. You get the pre order exclusive things by going to your email that you provided when u ordered the book. The email was sent by "Atria Books" so if you search that in your email it should pop up for you!!

I’m not a big poetry person but there were a few of the poems I loved, the illustrations are beautiful, and I felt as if gabbie was reading the poems to me with how much her own voice translated into this book.

I bought this book already being a fan of Gabbie Hanna and her videos and music wanting to support her in all ways I can.. BUT THEN I READ IT.. it’s like I opened a page from my own diary and things I’ve never told anyone before, she put into words feelings and situations I never knew how to put into words myself.. the doodles are absolutely perfect and make some of the harsh realities that are covered in her writing a little less harsh.. I can’t put it down I keep re reading it over and over! Reminding myself im not the only one to feel this way and it’s helped britghten some dark places in my brain.. cannot recommend this book enough

It feels overwhelming sometimes but it is also funny. I love to see and react to each poem. It's so nice to have a piece of art so distinguished and interesting. Thank you, Gabbie! For opening your heart and soul and pouring into this masterpiece.

I adore all things Gabbie Hanna especially her poetry and music. I loved her first book and I loved this one even more! I talked to a friend about her poetry and shared a page which brought us closer together, and made the friend want to read her book which she will. I love when books and anything good can bring people together. Thank you Gabbie.

Gabbie really did blow me away with dandelion, the song and the book, you can tell the years of work she put into it. From the very first poem it makes you think about life, makes you feel you're not alone in the world, people have the same thoughts and feelings sometimes and it was a great feeling.Certain poems made me emotional, I felt my own connection to them and made me think wow isn't this me, didn't that happen to me too, but it's not about me, I didn't feel alone, then some made me think about moments in Gabbies life, it was a rollercoaster of different emotions.Truly, she really has a way with words and I'm always here to listen or read them, I'm in love with her work, I'm already ready for her next book. Honestly, I am grateful for this book, I'm really glad I own it.Also the illustrations really are amazing and really add to the poems also. The honest essays at the end, I really appreciate them, they truly made me feel real, these are emotions we hide or things we never speak of because of judgement I will forever be greatful for them, made me realise all those times I wasn't alone and everyone around me has story's like these too.This book is amazing and I cannot recommend it more, I enjoyed it, also bookmarked a few to go back to read when I need them too, thank you Gabbie
