Great cable
This is a great cable, helps improve the picture and sound quality of my Panasonic BD820 blue ray player. Clearer picture, more defined bass, mids and treble. I primarily use the player for music video's and concert's, and they have all benefitted from the installation of this cable. I have been an avid music fan and audiophile since the mid '80's, my only regret is that I didn't upgrade years ago. Highly recommended, just get it. I also got the Pangea AC9 mk2 se, 3 altogether. 1 for my Isotek Polaris power strip, 1.5m, and then 2 of the 1 meter cables for my Audio By VanAlstine Monoblocks. They made an even bigger difference, almost like I added a subwoofer. The improved bottom end, bass slam, if the music has it, is easy to hear. Vocals, midrange and tweeters have more clarity, and there is actually more volume, due to less restriction of the actual power getting to the amps. The last power cable, Pangea AC14Mk2, the best line level/source cord is on my pre amp, an NAD 165. While the pictures don't show all of the cables, and the heavier power cables, the AC9's in particular, can be a little on the not-so-flexible side, the benefits highly outweigh the down sides, which in my book, there were none, which these all replaced stock power cords. Just get the SE versions, that's where the magic is, the better Cardas wiring. Definitely worth the money. As a last note, don't expect them to sound their best right out of the box, give them some time to break in, they start to sound better after a couple hours, even more so after 20, and so on. There is a 30 day trial period, give them a chance, you won't regret it.

Very good but be careful
This is my second Pangea Audio AC 14SE MKII. The other is a different version that's hooked to my dac. I noticed with that one that my dac turns on faster. After buying this one and hooking it up to my amp I've confirmed that these cords allow what they are hooked up to to draw more power. It's a good thing but be careful if you don't expect it. Before I would use the 2nd and 3rd gain on my amp for my dt1990. Now I have to use the the 1st gain and the lower levels of the 2nd gain. Want to put this out there so people know before they buy. Cord is well worth the price, just something that's good to know. Pangea and Mogami are my go to cords now

Worth a punt..even if you are not much of a cable believer
I now use 4 of these Pangea cables in a 2-channel audio system. And what can I say-the first thing I think that everyone would agree on-including cable and wire deniers is that there was less extraneous noise-I had a very small mains related hum in the background, possibly due to the tangle of signal and power cables behind the entertainment center. The fact that these power cords are much better shielded is undisputable-the noise is still present but much lower in intensity than before-there may be other issues at hand too. What is nice also is the options of lengths available. I was using a standard 2 m cable in one application that needed to be gathered as an unsightly coil next to the entertainment center. Being able to use a 1m cable instead made a tidier appearance.Sound quality also took a step up with the Pangea-everything seemed to be more 'live', crisper, clearer and the bass notes seemed to have not only more extension ( not always a good thing), but were tighter and had more pitch (always a good thing).A caveat though-the plug ends, especially the IEC socket that goes into the equipment are very chunky and may not fit through precut access ports-I had to enlarge the hole in the backboard. Also these are much stiffer and more difficult to 'dress' than generic power cords and may need more clearance to turn a bend than you may be used to.Yes, you can get power cords for less, but decent quality generic ones are not THAT much less. You CAN however pay much, much more (maybe up to 100x more), so I think this is a sensible price point-if you value audio performance over price and ease of installation.

This cable is hands down amazing! I use it for my Emotiva A2m amp and itโs awesome! It really brings out more of the music!

Nice cable
This is a well built and robust power cable, that looks professional and a it's step or two above the generic no-name power cords that come with most electronics (i.e. integrated amps, phono stages, etc). I use it to power a Vincent Audio phono stage and it works nice; sonically speaking, and conmparing it to the generic cable that came with the phono preamp, it seems that it slightly improved the sound (not outrageously, though), now it's a bit wider and with better definition in certain frequencies. However, I was expecting a more dramatic experiencie, given the rave reviews I've been reading somewhere else. I mean, this cable is good but not THAT good. The one thing I hate is that the C7 connector is too long and it does not fit very well inside the input jack of the power supply of the phono stage, so if I ever move the cable a single bit, it falls off and disconnects, because the cable is thick and heavy. The fit is not tight and leaves too much to be desired.

Buy them, they work.
They work. I have built a custom theater system and was looking for that final cable. I did my research and found then to be budget friendly and not comprise on quality. If you get a chance buy them, you won't regret it.

Best C7 shielded power cord for the money. Full stop.
Firstly, I understand that some people assert that power cords cannot/ do not have any effect on equipment performance. But these statements are virtually never made from a position of first hand experience. However, my review is made from first hand observations.Put simply, the ample current carrying ability AND the multiple different shielding strategies employed prevent the cable from behaving as an antenna for RFI or being unduly affected by EMI. This has contributed directly to the power supply of my Bluesound Node 2 functioning in a more linear and ideal manner.Bottom line: more stratified sound stage width, height, and depth. Better tone colors. Better low level detail retrieval. Removal of all grit and grain. It's money well spent. I even put a std AC14 On my Apple TV. This actually slightly improved picture quality and reduced latency on the wired Ethernet connection.Highly recommended.
