DCK019 Tool Bag

The more DeWalt products I have, the more I appreciate their common sense engineering. I bought a pair of these for my various cordless tools that I constantly use and drag around with me. I needed something to include various accessories and attachments (bits, batts, blades, bandaids... whatever), all of which easily and early overflowed the standard DeWalt rigid cases these tools came with. This bag is large, for example holds my trusty XRP drill-driver (Bag #1) and/or my cordless circular saw (Bag #2), several boxes of bits, spare blades, a socket set, pliers and screwdrivers, a spare batt w/charger, box of fasteners, tape and tri-square. There is often room for another cordless item if I want. Update: handy bag! Now have several more serving as Camper Bag (pliers & screwdrivers, hitch receiver, hatchet, drop cord, gloves, spare everything); Pickup Bag (ratchet straps, bungie cords, assorted tools, jumper cables, spare fuses, tire gauge, towel, & hand cleaner ...); Garage Bag (ditched the Homer Bucket and now carry all my everyday tools: hammer, pry bar, tape measures, fasteners, 24" clamps, and even the occasional 8x12 plastic boxes of whatever). Basically I can, and do, fill it to the brim. PROS: HD zipper, HD nylon material. You might puncture the nylon, maybe with a bare sawblade, but it won't be easy. Reinforced edges (wired), this is not a floppy bag; top folds inward when zipped, bag retains its shape. NICE nylon handles, same material as the bag, plenty of room for a gloved hand to grab. Reinforced bottom, seems quite robust and I expect it will hold some weight before sagging. Pockets along the outside, 3 on each side, 2 on each end, all decently sized (cellphone, pencils&notepad, tape measure, etc). One large pocket inside. Price -- you can't buy a toolbox for this price, and unlike a tool-box or -bucket this boy isn't going to fall over on those fast turns and bumpy roads. It's nice to finally have a container I can grab on the run and know it has everything I need for that particular tool... or tools. Ho Hum: I've been known to leave my tools out in the field, unable to find my stuff without making a grid search. This bag has a bright yellow base, so I expect to never lose it! Cons: None. Maybe could use a shoulder strap, but that's a personal thing. After all, this IS a tool bag, not some male accessory item.

I bought several of these on sale and everyone loves them. The one thing that one recipient mentioned was that he would have liked a shoulder strap and this tool bag does not have one. The fabric is extremely durable and the handles look rugged and well made. The bag opens up fully as a wide mouth and numerous pockets are on the inside and the outside as well. One could store a single tool like a sawzall or circular saw with its accessories, or even more than one large tool, or one could use this for numerous smaller tools. Highly recommend!

The tool bag seems decently made overall, although the bag I received is actually the Dewalt 624807-01 bag, not the DCK019 bag pictured. It is really not an issue for me though since they are both the same size. It looks like the other woven polyester bags sold with DeWalt’s 20V cordless tools with the yellow on top and black on the bottom design. This is the opposite of the of DCK019 bag in the picture above that shows the black on top and yellow on the bottom style. As mentioned before, it is the same size as the DCK019 bag. The bag has one large fabric pocket inside for a charger and batteries or other bulky accessories and three smaller pockets on the opposite side for things like reciprosaw or oscillating tool blades, etc. I keep a 3/4 X 10-inch long SDS+ chisel in the large pocket along with several other smaller 6-inch long SDS+ bits with plenty of room to spare. I carry several my Dewalt 20V cordless tools in this bag, including the atomic reciprosaw, heat gun, oscillating tool, rotary cut-out tool, SDS+ rotary hammer and led worklight along with spare blades, bits and batteries and I can still zip it closed without issue.

Dewalt makes many tool bags Some better than others. I cannot tell this one from the several others that I purchased tool pouch

I just purchased a 20v circular saw that came without a case so I decided to take a chance on this bag. The price was right and I already have a smaller version for my hammer drill and impact driver. Well I am impressed (doesn't come easy). Too roomy for my saw alone so I swapped the drill and impact bag +bits etc into this bag and put the saw in a smaller bag. Great construction and the Dewalt look make this the perfect tool bag for any jobsite. And the price........what a value. You won't find a better bag at this price.

I bought this bag as a gift for my father-in-law who needed a bag to carry tools, his drill etc. The bag arrived quickly and was well made. The bag expanded to allow more room for storing bulky tools and the handles were nice and thick so you didn't feel like they would ever break no matter how heavy the bag got. And it is easy to spot the bag in a garage or shed because it is bright yellow lol!
