🎶 Fuzz it up and stand out!
The Dunlop Germanium Fuzz Face Mini Distortion (Model FFM2) is a compact effects pedal that delivers the iconic fuzz tones of the mid '60s, featuring slightly mismatched germanium transistors, a status LED, and versatile power options for both AC and battery use.

This is the classic fuzz in a small pedal.

My favorite pedal
It’s amazing the sounds you get from this pedal especially given the price. This pedal creates a very warm and ample fuzz sound which you can use in a great variety of genres if you are thinking about it try it out!!

Classic fuzz sounds.
Very usable and recognizable fuzz tones. Smaller size is handy. Sturdy. Found mine used for excellent price on Amazon.

Go Germanium
Okay, assuming one knows about the basic nature of Fuzz Faces in general, I'd highly recommend this one over the blue Silicon FFM1. It has slightly less gain, but it's much more responsive to your volume control. I first bought the FFM1, but soon realized that it had a massive volume drop and was only usable with both the volume and fuzz practically cranked. It also did not clean up very well with the volume knob, so in short I realized it had no dynamics. After returning it and trying the red Germanium FFM2, there was still a slight volume drop, but it is still exceptionally more tolerable than the FFM1. The clean up was similarly much more dynamic, and it worked much better with other overdrive pedals as well. It has a deeper, warmer fuzz sound but it will still go well with humbuckers. I have not tried the mini Hendrix, but I've heard it doesn't suffer the volume drop issue either. In general, I highly recommend this pedal to anyone attempting to capture their favorite fuzz face tones. Most famous users tend to go for silicon models, but I think the warmer tone is much easier to work with, as the silicon gain tends to be more shrill sounding and difficult to control.

Pretty cool little thing
I gave this to my boyfriend for Christmas, he was so excited! I don’t know much about guitars or pedals for that matter, but the sound this thing produces is awesome. It looks and feels like it was made very well too.

Hard to mount, unreliable
First off, what's with the stupid geometry and thick rubber pad on this pedal? Has the manufacturer never heard of a pedal board? Secondly, one day I get overwhelming fuzz from the pedal and have to turn my volume pot down on the guitar. Then a few days later I have to turn the fuzz all the way up to get any use-able fuzz. Malfunctioning after 8 months.

Great at other pedals for extra body
I love this pedal my only fault with it is it has no tone control if it only had a tone control I would have to buy a separate tone control EQ pedal for it but it goes great with my big muff pi
