Very adaptable light source.
This light was the perfect addition to my chinese shoe patcher machine. It's very bright and easy to install. High quality and looks great after installation.

Goose neck LED light
I used this in my metal lathe to get more directed light when I am machining parts. Very flexible to get light exactly where you need it.. the base is magnetic and holds position strongly.

warning - may be inappropriate around young children
These lights heat up more than I expected. My IR thermometer says 134.6 F on the base and 154.2 F on the lamp housing. The LED array indicates 219.7 F, hot enough to boil water! It works well in my application, but may be unacceptable around young children or if not allowed proper ventilation. On a drill press, this is not an issue, young children should never be unsupervised around power tools, but buried in a pile of fabric where there is no air flow, it could overheat.

Great for putting light where you need it.
These are phenomenal. Get the higher brightness and you will not be sorry. I have a Barracuda sewing machine (made for heavy duty canvas and sail repairs) and the clamp using their magnets onto the motor casing and I have one coming over the top and one shining from the back so I can see what I am doing. My sewing machine does not feature a light and these help tremendously. Plus having them on flexible necks helps position them where I need the light.
