Not Just for Kids!
We have a female Papillion (dog, 2 years old, 3 1/2 lbs.) in our home. Whenever my 80 year old Daddy comes to visit, they spend all their time together bonding. My Daddy wanted a puppy so much but has difficulty walking without a cane; our "Mattie" waits until "Paw-Paw" sits down then she gets up in his lap. Daddy lives near a busy street with no fence and has to climb up and down stairs to get to his unfenced back yard. This makes it very difficult to have a "real" dog that he would have to walk in all kinds of weather, any time of the day or night. We got "Tumbles" for Daddy this Christmas. It was funny at first, but Daddy lets "Tumbles" sit with him in his recliner and leaves him "on" so many times "Tumbles" will wiggle or whine and Daddy will rub on him and pet him. He is thankful he doesn't have to take "Tumbles" out or feed/water him but he talks to him and pets him. We know it isn't the same as having a real pet, but Daddy likes to leave to visit relatives every now and then and he doesn't have to worry about "Tumbles" at all. When he comes to visit he truly enjoys being with our real "Mattie" and at his home, "Tumbles" does the trick!

Better than I thought it would be
My 5yr old daughter wanted several of the "Fur Real" animals for Christmas. I almost didn't get this one because the one she really wanted was the white kitty. However, I saw this at a really good price and bought it. I'm so glad I did. My daughter LOVES it. It doesn't do much and makes some whiney sounds, but it is much more cuddly than I thought it would be. It's not flexible like a stuffed toy, but the shape of it really does let you hold it up to you and snuggle with it. It is my daughter's favorite gift, and she won't go anywhere without it. Well worth the price I paid (which was around $33).

Fur Real Friend Tumbles
I did not expect this toy to be cuddly, after all, it must have some sort of electronics inside to make it roll over. So I really did expect it to roll over but it didn't. We did everything we could think of including swapping out the batteries, but it wouldn't roll. It squirms, squeals and wiggles, but it DOES NOT ROLL OVER. This did not turn out to be a favorite toy for our granddaughter (who loves puppies and dogs). She rarely even plays with it at all. I would not recommend this toy for a child who is expecting a "puppy that rolls over". Not at all worth the money.

Well It's Better Than A Real Dog
Tumbles is not a completely crappy toy. It's just not completely awesome. It's mechanisms are loud and clumsy and it's rather stiff and hard. But it's better than cleaning up after a real dog and my 3-year-old likes to see it sleeping at the end of her bed. If you can get if for around [...], it's not bad. But the full-price value makes this one a hard sell. Literally. Cause you can't really cuddle with it. Get it?

Fur real tumble dog
Nothing spectacular. The mechanics make the dog feel hard and definately not cuddly. I would not recommend this for small children. It is more of a gimicky thing that adults would buy.

Not Really Appealing
Bought this for my g'daughter's 4th birthday but sent it back immediately. The machinery that makes the dog roll over is very hard and young kids cannot really cuddle up with this one. The dog isn't very appealing or cute.Great idea, but it needs work.

Daughter loves it at 7 years old
Very cute toy - pretty much does what it says, rolls over when paw is pressed. But, won't do it on non-carpeted floor. Otherwise, cute toy.

Outrageously cute and fun
This dog is fun for children, teens and adults. I purchased two. One of the dogs is going around my neighborhood to 4 families for their kids to take care of for a week and then continues each and every week to the next family. They will keep it going and love the dog.
