Armada Pro800D Hi-Power Wire and Valve Locator

Like many others, I inherited responsibility for a large irrigation system that had no documentation. Neither the irrigation zones nor the locations of the valve boxes were mapped out. This equipment paid for itself the first day I used it, which was the day after it arrived. I had to locate some valve boxes and then identify specific valves. The cost of a service call from an irrigation company would have exceeded the cost of the product. The written instructions could be better, but Armada has instructional videos online that are much easier to follow. Ten minutes after opening the box, I had the batteries installed and I was hooking up the leads to the wires of the irrigation controller. If you're responsible for a commercial irrigation system, this tool is a must-have and will pay for itself over and over.

Not sure how I did irrigation work without this very handy tool. Makes my life so much simpler and makes me money too!

Worked great easy to use

This unit is wonderful! Locates very well. It's very helpful to be able to block out a/c interference. Only disappointment is that there's NO induction cable clamp neither can I get one for this model I'm told. There's a cut out for it in the case, but I'm told they don't make one for THIS professional model. They make other professional models have that one with the unit. Why wouldn't they make one for this one?
