This book has very limited utility. One could easily print out the fidel and practise them without paying the $20 for this book. The pages are structured with one fidel script in front of a writing line which more suited for practicing English penmanship and not very practical for Amharic writing. It provides no instructions/guidance in terms of how to form the letters making it virtually useless.

This book does exactly what it's suppose to; teach you how to write with the fedel. You can tear the pages out and upload into your computer to print out at later times. I love this book. If you are looking to learn how to read and write with the fedel, as you write each "letter" say its sound out loud and within 1 month you with know how to read. And from there you can practice and just become better. It's a much easier language to read than english. All african languages should use the fedel to write their languages.
