A: Melting point for PTFE (Teflon) is 326 C or 620 F.  You want to stay at the safe side of that with a good margin. The magnet itself his much higher, but should be covered by the encapsulation at all times.

The 35mm, the two 30mm, and the 15mm worked great! The 25mm, the 20mm, and the 10mm didn't work well, as they seemed unbalanced, so they were noisy and it was very hard to get them to work. I am using these with the INTLLAB Magnetic Stirrer.
