Tbh, I was expecting a fairly plush mattress protector. It states in dimensions that it's 3cm thick... It is about 3mm, maybe 5mm if you fluffed it up, but a very misleading description. Otherwise it would have been good. It looks well made though, and may do the job anyway.

Having read the mixed reviews I knew what to expect and it met that expectation, it’s lovely and soft but not overly padded. Bit disappointed that some of the stitching had frayed, but I guess the quality is a measure of the price
