Less expensive, but just as good
A professional landscaper, that services my neighbor, put me onto this Arnold brand 2 cycle oil. He told me that it works just fine in all their equipment and costs less than most other brands. So I tried it and so far so good. It also has a stabilizer built in so the 2 cycle mix should be good fo a number of months.

Yes, Its two-stroke oil.
Without sending it to a lab, there is no way to know if it is better or worse than any other two stroke oil. With that said, it works and, so far, my equipment is operating well. What I do like is the "self-measuring capabilities incorporated within the bottle.

Good oil for 2cycle string trimmers.
I use this brand of synthetic-blend of oil mixed 40:1 for my string trimmers for 5 years now. I mix it up in the spring into 2 gallons of 91-93 octane non-ethanol gas. It also has additives to keep the fuel fresh for longer periods of time. The trimmer engines run great, are easy to start and have no smoke in the exhaust! Then before winter I drain the tanks on the trimmers and pour that and what is left in the 2cycle fuel/oil mix can into my 5 gallon 4 cycle snow blower fuel can. The leftover 2cycle fuel, diluted into 5 gallons of gas, burns great in the snow blower. This way I keep fresh fuel for all of my equipment and the 4 cycle snowblower gets a little extra upper cylinder lubrication at the beginning of the season. Great 2 cycle oil for yard equipment!BTW... MTD now owns the Arnold brand oil. If you try to go to the old Arnold website you will be redirected to MTD's website.

Not universal. Ix
Not truly universal mix. You have to mix different amounts for different fuel mix ratios.
