Q: I see in the pictures that the packaging has changed. Is the product the same?

The Adult Cat recipe was enhanced slightly. Still includes chicken as #1 ingredient, turkey, duck and salmon in every delicious bite! Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids for healthy skin & coat. Prebiotic fiber from dried chicory root for healthy digestion. No by-product meals, wheat, corn or soy. No artificial colors, preservatives or flavors. Your cat should not need to transition on this food but you can introduce the new gradually to the old if your cat has a sensitive stomach.

Q: What is the breakdown of crude protein and crude fat? I am looking for a specific ratio.

JW: Hope this helps. Crude Protein: 34.41% as fed, 37.81% Dry matter, 11.05g/100 kcal Crude Fat: 8.53% as fed, 9.38% dry matter, 2.74g/100 kcal

Robert: Feeding adult formulas to a kitten should not hurt a kitten, but we suggest feeding a kitten food for fat and DHA. Hope this helps

Yes, the batch that was shipped in August 2021 smelled so bad that I thought that it was spoiled. I did not feed it to my cats and bought new. Unfortunately, I did not open it for a few months, thus was past the return time. Better safe than sorry!
