Extremely powerful light - I haven’t had any issues with the app. Everything is pretty straightforward and the light connected to the app right away. So far so good! My high light plants have started to turn red and pink! I tried two lesser lights for my tank but my set up demanded something more powerful. I have it only running at 100% for about three hours in the middle of the day. I wish it had a little bit of a lower setting - 5% is the lowest it will go and that is still quite bright for the evening. All in all - great light and my plants have never looked so good. So glad to finally stop killing all my high light demand plants

This light is really great. The app is a bit clunky to reprogram but the scheduling/timer function is super reliable which is an absolute necessity in a planted tank. I like the level of control that the app offers in terms of customizing brightness and color temperature. You also can’t argue with the slick looks of the unit as this is arguably the best looking high-performance aquascape light on the market. I bought the blue-white version for my freshwater planted tank, but now I wish I had gone with the warmer color temperature version for my purposes. Not a big deal, but I’d like to see a middle color temperature version with say a range of 5k to 8k because that would be the obvious choice for just about everyone. In sum, high performance aquascaping lights are an investment. The prices are steep no matter where you look, but in terms of value, looks, and performance for your dollar, I doubt there are better options than the ONF Flat One Plus.

I know this light is a bit controversial because some people don’t know how to use the app, but it works perfectly for me and the controls are amazing. You just have to read the manual. Superb color and so bright. It brings out amazing tones in my fish and plants. I have had freshwater aquariums for 20+ years and this is already my favorite light bar that I have ever owned. My tank is 35 inches wide and this bar gives perfect light distribution edge to edge.

I have had a lot of different led smart lights coming from reef tanks. This light has been terrible to deal with. It follows the schedule in the app but constantly turns on full blast randomly causing stress to all of my fish in the middle of the night. The leds seem to have issue firing because at 5% the temp doesn’t change when you change it on the app in the range 6500k-8200k, then it just jumps. It isn’t an issue if I bump the power above 15%. I haven’t received much in the way of support other than reaching out on hobbyist forums. For this price tag I will be advising other hobbyist to go with other options and I am very dissatisfied. EDIT: Light is still a complete failure and NO SUPPORT FROM ONF. DON'T BUY.

It is beautifully designed and made. The app works well. I run it on my one main aquascaped "show tank" in my office. It is almost too much light so you'll have to check on your setup to see how much you need to dial it back. I'm using it on a 90p rimless with co2 injection and run the light around 65% at the highest point during the day. I ramp it up and down slowly with peak light for only a couple of hours and a total run time of about 10 hours. I love the light but the cost makes it prohibitively expensive to run on multiple tanks. Great light. Value??? Value is in the eye (and wallet) of the beholder.

This light is very nice to look at and is bright enough for sure. I've edited this review because I've finally gotten the app to work reasonably well, but it is pretty quirky. This light is well built and other than the app, and fact that it could go a little higher than 6500k keeps it from being about perfect. The Y&W version ranges from 3000k to 6500k while the w&b version ranges from 6500k and 20000k and is better suited for salt water aquariums. But it would be nice if the Y&W version went to 8000k which I believe would have higher LED output in the blue range. However the 6500k does do the job well. If the app keeps crashing while trying to connect to the daylight circle mode, try restarting the app and then making a change in manual mode before attempting to connect in daylight mode.
