Manufacturer is loosely using the word cloth because of the shortage of athletic tape in 1” size. It’s the old fashioned nylon material. Nothing like the zonas product. Amazon should more diligently research some of these products that are misleading in their name or description

Medical

This tape is very thin and sticks poorly. It's just generally difficult to use, and comes loose with the slightest moisture. I assumed it would be like the old style cloth adhesive tape, but it isn't much better than Scotch Magic Tape for use on paper. Unfortunately, I got a big box of it instead of a single roll.

I was looking for an alternative for the Metolius climbing tape (which is expensive) and decided to give this stuff a try. This tape is a tighter weave than Metolius tape so it does not give as much. When you bind your fingers, wrap loosely so that you have flex. The glue is great and the tape really sticks well to itself and skin. It also splits really well down the middle if you need to make thinner strips. As far as the tape's outside surface and it's grip to climbing surfaces, I've only used in the gym. The tape picks up chalk well and gives a firm grip.I haven't put this tape to the test on rock or cracks so it's still in the prototype phase. However at this cost it's worth the risk. Even if I only end up using it to mend my backpack! Heck, with 12 rolls I can make a backpack! ;-)

Wound care use

It is not cloth like athletic tape. It has a shiny texture and is difficult to tear/rip with fingers. Price was okay, but may return as it does not meet my needs fully

Surgical tape seems just as good as the "name brand" stuff at a lower price. Exactly as described and pictured, works fine for my purpose (taping my foot due to plantar fasciitis). Lasts all day, sticks well, does not irritate.

This tape works perfectly for me...and on me...

This product looked similar to other tapes i have used, but i find doesnt stick to my skin as well as other products. Otherwise an ok product.
