The Adventure of I: A Journey to the Centre of Your Reality

I came across "The Adventure of I" by Tania Kotsos as a recommendation from Amazon, based in large part on my order history of philosophical and self-help genre books, especially those related to consciousness and mind power. While the "omniscience" of marketing algorithms might deserve credit for this most fortuitous encounter, after having read the book, I must give my will and desire at least partial credit: this book is exactly what I would have written for myself if I were capable of such a feat!"The Adventure of I" fully delivers on the author's promise to describe what is meant by the ancient Greek maxim, "Know Thyself," by offering a meticulously constructed argument for living life from a higher state of consciousness, as well as a wonderful compendium of techniques to use to achieve this state of "Top-Down Living." The author has distilled the best of esoteric and ancient primary sources into a cohesive and original masterwork of unmatched quality in its genre, including an elegant description of The Absolute and Universal Laws. Above all, Kotsos provides a manual for living that is both novel and resonant with what we know to be true, written with such brilliant lucidity that one cannot help but be inspired to take action. I have dog-eared more than half the pages, scribbled marginalia along hundreds of passages, and revisited this book routinely over the months since I read it. I've even brought the book to dinner to read salient passages to my husband and kids! As there is absolutely no padding in this book--it does without any of the standard anecdotal fillers--I consider it a book of permanent importance in my library, one that I may refer to at any time for a valuable refresher on how to make the most of this precious life.

Since I finished this book a few days ago, I have had to catch my breath. Because this book opened such a profound energy of love within me I was able to drop all that was not my real self and join with the love of the universe in which WE are all a part of and see how WE are creating our lives and the world through OUR beliefs and perceptions...that we are truly magnificently, infinitely, powerful beings of light and we are remembering our way back home through MIND.As I have been practicing watching my thoughts, doing the star meditation, connecting to Universal Mind and other exercises, I am more sensitive to energies those of others and myself. Because I now have the knowledge of how mind works within the universal laws I have entered into that part of my mind that is my God Self I am much more aware of the thoughts and emotions I am putting out into the field and now emit nothing unlike LOVE to continuously emit these energies out to the universe. I can dance between the the pendulum swings instead of getting knocked down by them. I keep and treasure all the hermetic principles as the blueprint for all souls to aspire to in their quest for Unity and Oneness while operating in the 3 D consciousness. I want to thank Tania Kotsos for her unending generosity and love for the human condition for putting this labor of love into the world for all of us who are seeking to put it all together. It couldn't have come into existence at a better time!

I have been a seeker for most of my life. I am a Freemason. My reason for existing is only to search for light. I've traveled the paths of religion, spirituality, philosophy, and the like. This is a book to savor - to take your time with. It has six parts, each a book on itself, yet it builds. Repetition is planned for our minds to absorb a paradigm shift in thinking about ourselves and the world. A book to keep, discuss, purchase as a gift. I followed the author's advice (difficult at times) and read the book chronologically, I did not skip ahead. The reward for this is in the last three chapters were the author brings it all together in an amazing simple way - which would not be simple if you skipped ahead! Enjoy this gift to yourself, and through you, a gift to others.

This was a good book on the subject of discovering your true, spiritual self. The chapters on manifestation were particularly good and well written. I have read many books on spirituality, the true self and manifestation over the years and in most parts this is one of the better ones.However I have only given this book 3 stars because towards the end of the book the author felt the need to promote their beliefs about Christianity and the Bible and that prayer in this would help you achieve what she has written about in her book. This came as a surprise and disappointment as apart from a few small quotes about Christianity and other religions (plus Greek philosophers) earlier in the book, there seemed to be no real bias until these later chapters. True spiritual books will never have any bias towards any religion, they are beyond this and equal to all. I also found the book was more complicated than it needed to be in parts.I would recommend reading "A simple shortcut to Inner Peace and Joy - Living your true nature" by Julie Sarah Powell

If you never read another book on metaphysics, read this one. I have spent years trying to understand this concept but after 'willing' somebody into my life to help me understand this facinating but complex subject, along comes Tania. I had the privilige of attending her first seminar in London, and from that moment on, I looked forward to the book I just knew she would one day write. Here it is, the most lucid, well written book on this subject that I have ever read. I have just finished reading it, and am looking forward to start re-reading it all over again as soon as I have written this review. I guarantee this book will become a 'Bible' to many. So to all fellow travellers on this path, read this book and become enlightened to the ways of the universe, this book truely is An Adventure.

This book is a first class introduction to metaphysical concepts, Natural Law and the true nature of reality. It’s actually far more than an introduction. The author, Tania Kotsos has created a beautifully written masterpiece and clearly possesses a deep understanding of the subject matter. If you only buy one book on the ‘subject’ I strongly urge you to make it this one.

This is one of the most intrigiung books I have ever read. It will open your eyes to the truth about your place and identity on earth and in the universe. It will practically show you how to live a more enlightened and successful life; that's success both in your personal and professional lives. I have ordered copies for friends and family.

Thank you, Tania, for this wonderful volume. It hasn't left my side,literally,since it arrived. Having finished it,I am grateful for the distillation of ancient knowledge, psychology and spirtuality into a practical handbook that should be issued to every human at birth and worked through until a thorough knowledge of our inner creativity has been effectively obtained!It makes sense, and puts into perspective our higher and lower selves as conscious minds in charge of our subconscious mind.Life CAN be consciously improved and we are the ones to do it, making us able to finally "Be the change you want to see".I am so thankful to have come across this game changing book!
