SO3001 TF2 All Purpose Oil - Mineral Bicycle Lubricant for Bike Bearings, Cables, Pedals, Chains and Links - 125ml

It's all purpose oil. After oiling my pedals and chains I also tried it on my squeaky gate and the problematic lock on my garage and it worked great - next week I'll try it on my pancakes.

I've recently had a new mountain bike and so have been stocking up on items for maintenance. There are a number of chain lubes on the market, branded as dry or wet lubes and I wasn't quite sure what type I wanted to go for so instead opted for this as a general purpose oil.It lubricates the chain and sprockets well and seems to last after use in wet/muddy conditions. It's also not picked up any visible dirt yet either so seems to be an ideal balance for general purpose use.

I'm using this weekly on my Brompton chain.It is thick oil, and application is easy to control via this bottle. Simply squeeze and one droplet comes out.Once you've used it, the lid is easy to reapply. The lid is attached to the bottle too, so you won't lose it.Great value, and great quality.

This was just what I needed. The oil is thick enough to properly lubricate the chain of my bike and keep it working smoothly. The gear changes can be clunky but have improved a lot since applying this oil. Very happy with it.

Arrived the next day, adequately packaged, and silenced my squeaky chain in minutes. It went on easily and didn’t drip too much after wiping off the excess with a rag. The chain became noticeably smoother and quieter after the oil worked in over a few minutes of pedalling. Job done.Is it better than other oils? - I don’t know to be honest, but it does work.
