Do you offer a 1.4" hole driller? does any one? does any company offer hole driller in tenths of inch increments?

We don't offer drills now, but you can search for “35mm drills” on amazon.com and then you will find the driller fits this grommet.

My desk has a 1.5" hole, will the 1.4" grommet fall through?

The 1.4" grommet will not fall throught a 1.5" hole, but will be loosen.

can you install these so they sit flush in the table? How flat is the top?

These grommets, like most (maybe all?) grommets, fit the hole they’re drilled for and rely on their integral flange to keep them from slipping through. Therefore, they don’t sit “flush” with the surface, and are maybe 1/16” higher than the surface.

I just ordered and received 2-pack desk grommet for wire organizer - flat black, fits 1.4" hole, how do you install and make it stay?

I bought the metal (brushed nickel) version, and there's no rivet backing to it. Bad form, but it works perfectly for my purpose.
