space opera at its best!
Bought the compendium without much review, only that it was Sci-Fi. Am I ever glad I did. This was hard to put down. All the way through. The characters are perfectly imperfect, and the plot is not as predictable as you would think. The main character in the beginning is the character at the end, true, but several strong characters come into the story after the first third is done and have more or less played their parts by the end.

Lots of hood action... but
The first two books in the super carrier were without a doubt excellent. However book three seemed to get bouged down in unnecessary dialog. Still exciting reading, but not up to my expectations.

To the Universe and Beyond
I find that books like these are so much involved in both fantasy and reality that I can't stop reading them. They have great characters and a great story line. You will find some areas that take a longer time to develop but that adds to the interest. Good reading!

Review app sucks. Author's 1st book? slightly above average.
Over all 3.5If you leave the feedback page for any reason, it loses all your text. Happened 2x. So after 15 minutes, you get the nutshell review:Copy all if you need to leave the review page before you leave. No spelled out sex, no foul language if you don't count a winged/ beaked alien. Interesting plot and some moderate character development. After reading the entire box set, I had hoped for more as it could have devouted a book to cover each main character in detail. The first book did a better than average character developementon in my opinion. I was not bored but not hooked either. Took over a month to read cover to cover. I have read 5 star books of over 300 pages in 2 to 3 days tops.I will give the author a second chance if I find a more recent book on sale that represents years of craft development.I found what I believed to be a major plot error regarding a bunch of abandoned earth ships, but I'm a plit stickler. I have written off authors for nonsensical plots where the heroes are made to look stupid by the author. This didn't rise to that level.PS: The author will not likely make any corrections to published books that have been narrated due to cost, so leave your reviews but not in book comments.Scott: I hope you enjoyed my review.Matt G. We communicated on this book. Thank you for spending the time listening.

This is a good read. It doesn’t slow down and builds on it’s characters. They become full characters with depth and interest.

The Ixan Prophecies
This box set is everything it's compared to. It's like Battlestar Galactica meets Star Wars. If you liked those two, The Ixan Prophecies will thrill beyond compare. I've been a fan of Bartlett's from the start. This series ranks right up there with his other novels. Captain Keyes is a person worth rooting for. Has nothing, gets nothing, yet is able to make the most of it. I really liked this series, after reading this box set again, I think you will too.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat
I found myself looking forward to continue reading this series until the end. I found my reading genre and bought more sci-if series that were similar to this series

Super read 👍👍
This is a great read from the outset, you want space war, marines aliens a melomaniac AI and a great cast of characters then you have it all. Pure space opera with so much action 😁😁

good military sci-fi romp
Dastardly corporation with draconian govt and a corrupt military make for a unpleasant future. One ‘low tech’ carrier stands up against impossible odd to defeat an old foe lurking in the shadows…waiting…

Poor ... Just poor
Gave up ....Characters with one dimension. Plots are so poor that they are laughable.Unfortunately kindle has many of these self published authors .. that so so badly need an editor.
