Slice Digital Die Cutting Machine

I ordered this new version of the Slice hoping that the problems were fixed from when Making Memories produced it but found the same issues still there. I had to change the blade after 5 cuts of paper, the blades did not cut the paper but chewed it. I wish that the Slice would work, it is such a great idea and so handy, but it just is too high maintenance with all the spreading of the adhesive, washing off of the adhesive to reapply and then, not cost effective due to all the blade changes. I am really sad about this product not working which is why I gave it a 2 and not a 1. I still have hope for it to get better someday. I did return the unit to Amazon.

Loved the slice machine. Had first one and want it fixed if possible so I bought a new one in hopes of getting information on getting the older one fixed. Anyone with information on where or who to finally get a response on the machine repairs please let me know. The new machine is working fine but I'd like to fix the old one. Customer service doesn't respond to e-mails or to the phone numbers in the booklets that came with the machine. It always says the mail box is full. On line there is no response from customer service. Help. Elizabeth D'Ambrosio

the whole slice product is not all that great so I cant say too much about it or the accessories, bought for wife and she does not like it, was supposed to cut fabric for quilting projects but don't plan on using it on fabric, ok on paper but that is not what I got it for.

I am a scrapbooker and cardmaker. Even though I already have a Cricut Expression that I love, I also love the the Slice because of it's compact size. It's much easier to take along when I go to scrapbook at a friend's house for the evening. The design cards have nice fonts and shapes. I was having a little trouble with my original Slice (which I figured out belatedly was the power cord), so I bought this latest model. I like that the new model has a low battery alert that the old one didn't.

Slice machine, Not easy to use. Blade gets dull fast. You can only cut a few peices before you have to wash the plate.

I had the Slice machine when it first came out and it finally died so I decided to buy the new updated one.It cuts better and easier than my old one ever did. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to use the design cards I already had but so far that has not been a problem.

The one I got was no good. Couldn't get it to cut right. It had no real pressure control. I had the blade screwed to almost falling out to get it to have contact with the fabric. So disappointed, sent it back. 😞

I have used this to cut out 3 items so far on fleece. it works great! you just have to make sure that you use the iron- on stabilizer. I will update when I've tried more fabrics :-)

I was very pleased with my Slice. I used it to make some of my Christmas cards and it performed perfectly!I would reccommend the Slice to anyone.

As yet we haven't been able to use this machine. It came package well and was here well before the estimated delivery time. Purchased because of it's compact size and ease in handling.

This product does not work properly. I would like my money back and I did not know there was going to be a charge for bringing it over the boarder.

I love my slice machine. So sad that they no longer make this wonderful product.
