This was my second Rivers Edge ladder stand. This one didn’t arrive with all the parts required for assembly. It was missing a few bolts. The powder coat finish was very thin and pealing in a couple of places. Not just scuffed or scratched areas. The company’s helpline is close on the weekends as like most people this is when we have time for these projects. So I left an email message about the issues and will have to give the help desk a big thanks. I called on Monday and they had already packaged the replacement parts. Touched up the paint with primer and paint and finished the assembly when the bolts arrived. Even added extra padding on the rest. The straps that came this stand are very short, and seem very light for this application, seem to be rated for only 300 lbs, which to me is very light for a 500lb stand. Have 800lb replacement ratchet straps to be used in the installation. Next time I will probably spend a little more and get a nicer product.

Set it up for a new deer stand

The stand and building process very easy, just not happy with the seat, the bar in front of seat presses on rear of my legs causing them to spasm or go numb. Had to use cushions to raise my ass up out of seat, next year I will put a wood board across seat to sit more erect. Hopefully get curtain for this me ext spring.

this stand was easy to put together but I have several issues with it. they don’t provide nylon washers for all bolt together joints which helps with noise reduction, also the stability wasn’t what I was expecting doesn’t feel as sturdy as I was expecting. the shooting rail rubs against the sidebar cushions constantly And doesn’t have the Bieber for a tall person, but the biggest disappointment I found was that this is suppose to be a 2 person stand. You can only fit 1 adult and 1 kid in this thing. I haven’t set it up against a tree yet but I’ve sat in the seat and I don’t think it will be comfortable for a long sit because the bottom of the seat has a raised rail that presses against the back of your leg. For the cost I could have gotten a higher quality stand. if they fixed these issues I’d consider trying them again but so far I’m not satisfied with this product.

Well it says you need 2 7/16 wrenches but you only need one because the nuts are smaller than the bolts, had to use a 1/2 for the nuts. Other then that looks like a great product.
