BulovaLadies Watch

Mixed feelings about this purchase. It was a gift for my wife. The watch is really nice, and although it’s only been with us for a short time, everything seems ok in terms of function and appearance. My issue, and the reason for only a three star rating, is that I’m not sure that this is a new watch. The box had clearly been opened before I received it, and whoever opened it tore the box by removing the tape. See photo. Not exactly the nice appearance you like when giving a gift like this. The box also has a sticker placed over what appears to be the manufacturer’s original label that was marked NEW. See photo. So I wonder if this watch has been refurbished? I can’t be certain and like I said, everything about the watch seems ok so I guess I’ll just see how it goes. Still bummed about the torn package though. Will update this review later if there’s any news.

I love this watch. Had it easily fit to my wrist at a kiosk at the mall. I don’t need to put on my reading glasses to see the time. Good value for the money spent

The pictures make is look like the rose gold is much more vibrant than it actually is, and the face of the watch is not nearly as rich with the opalescent look. In person you get a much more subtle feel of the texture and detail in the watch face, and the rose gold is quite a bit darker where in some lights you have to really double check that it is the rose gold version. Aside from the over exposed product images, it really is still a nice watch and Bulova always make a nice solid product. My wife has extremely tiny wrists and there were still plenty of links available to be taken out for this to fit her snuggly, yet comfortably. The double latches makes it incredibly easy to take off as well since it helps the band expand to easily twice of what I have seen from other watches like this.My only other real gripe is that it was shipped in a "padded" envelope. And I use the term padded loosely because while it said padded on the envelope it was really like adding a single layer of t-shirt. Needless to say, it didn't fair so well in shipping, was torn open, and the outer box pretty heavily scuffed from transit. At this price point, nothing like this should be sent in an envelope, even if it was actually padded better than the original envelope was.

This is a really nice looking, fashionable watch for women. It’s a little bigger on the wrist than what’s considered traditional sizing but women are wearing larger watches in these modern times. Very easy to set and read the watch face. Very easy to change band length with one of the cheap watch tool kits on Amazon.

The watch does not have "white mother of pearl dial set" like mentioned in description. I am happy with everything else but when I order something I expect AS advertised.

My husband gave me this watch for Xmas. He had to order it twice as the first shipment never arrived and nobody called to inform us it was lost. I put in on and it was very heavy and clunky feeling, with sharp edges on the metal wrist band. It looks like a man’s size watch with some feminine details pasted on. I am a sailor and my husband thought the Mariner name would appear to me. But I joked if I fell overboard with that watch on, I would probably sink to the bottom due to the weight of it. I questioned if this is truly a Bulova or a cheap knock off. I am returning it. It also seemed like the box had been opened before.

My wife likes it. Its good size not small or bulky, works so far.

I'm used to wearing heavy watches, so this is just fine. The only wish it could be read at night wo light, otherwise it's perfect.2 weeks later I realize time can be read perfectly in the dark.
